Facilities cannot possibly be a Big12 requirement.

In their case, winning in Football compensates for playing on dumpy fields.  If you don't win, better have nice facilities.

What's weird to me is all the artificial dirt/turf. Can't say i ever played ball on that stuff

Ridiculous and extra artificial turf in the batters box and mound because of wear?  Disgusting.  Hard to even watch that great game on that surface.
