I like the play breakdown with the exception of first down.  I would like to see a 1st down pass about a third of the time, especially if the opposing team is putting 8 and 9 in the box.

The thing that bugged me most was we ran out of a 1 back set.  We should use the I formation or a pro set with 2 backs and then run with a lead blocker.

There was some play action... finally.  And it had VERY GOOD results.  

I hope it gets used a bit more.

How about this play breakdown:

With C4 at QB......looked like ZERO pass attempts, several handoffs and numerous impatient QB scrambles. Even Eric Crouch mixed in the occassional forward pass.

This offense was nice and plain vanilla, just like it will be at UCONN. There wasn't any reason to show WVU anything from the Cincy game as we just have more talent on our team. Hopefully the same will go for UCONN.

Uh, did you see how he ran the ball... we were trying to get time off the clock!  Perfect game plan!

I'm happy he didn't throw the ball in that situation.
