I certainly appreciate the Glasers and the BUCS opening their home to our football team and fans! However, this is not our home! I am disguisted the way I was treated before entering the Cincinnati game. I walked through the line with my USF car flag and TSA told me to break it and even went as far as grabbing it out of my hands to show me how to break it! I got very angry and had to be calmed down...This will never be our stadium! We may play in it, we may fill it up with our fans, but all in all it is not our stadium. We pay to use it, and can't even get some **** USF logos in the place! It is certainly a beautiful facility to be in, but it's not ours! Most importantly, it will never be ours and we will never see a field painted, a stadium decorated, a true college atmosphere until we get our own stadium!

from what I remember, I'm pretty sure that they did paint the field for the Bulls for one big game about 2 years ago (maybe Blackwell's final year?).  I think it was either bowling green, louisville, or tcu.

they did it then, they can do it again.

Wonder if Pitt fans have similar complaints or if the Pittsburgh Sports Authority and the Steelers handle it better.

I think they would pony up the cash for this event.

I say paint the shield on the 50, covering up the flag.  Paint the end zones with gold color, paint the Big East logos on the 30s or wherever they usually do that sort of thing.  Paint USF in one end zone, Bulls in the other.  Raise a Big East flag on the Pirate Ship and put bull horns on the skull.

I don't live in Hillsborough County, but didn't y'all help pay for the stadium?  I seem to remember a tax referendum or something years ago and seem to remember that it would profit the Glasers handsomely.  I would think (if my recollection is accurate) that there should be some return for the public ponying up the money.  And that could take the form of painting the field for us.  Five grand is petty cash for the Bucs.  They probably spend that much on Gatoraide.

Anyway, it would be a cheap way to give back to the community that helped make the stadium possible.

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
