I'll have to admit PJ actually had a decent game.  he had some key throws on third down (after rod "predictable" smith ran the ball up the middle on first and second down to gain a whopping 4 yards).  no turnovers.

i knew we couldnt last long hiding our quarterback (or lack thereof).. now, cincy is loading 8 in the box and shutting down andre, somehow keeping this game within reach at halftime.  from a talent standpoint, we should be blowing cincy outta the water.. but the formula for beating USF is simple-- load the box, stop the run, watch julmiste and his WRs throw the game away... julmiste better start taking mustard off his short passes and the WRs better start applying stick 'um to their gloves if we want to win this one

Where are you now

your out of your mind, PJ had a very good game today. IMO, the best I've ever seen him. Long ball was pretty accurate, dead on in the intermediate area and even had touch on his shorter passes. There were some issues today but PJ wasn't one of them.

not once did i see the offense drive 80+ yds down the field for a TD.. they took advantage of what the defense gave them.. a win is a win, but we cant keep on relying on the defense bailing us out.. we gotta be able to win both running and passing.. and we gotta be able to drive down the field

PJ had a very good game; strong arm; good throws; no turnovers. The only negative is that he continues to lock onto one receiver and does not go through his progressions of checking to other receivers.  I think our overall passing attack (routes) is a freaking joke. From what I saw, we went deep twice, however, there were no under or intermediate routes;  its long or nothing. I have yet to see any clear-out routes and let the receiver slip into a vacated zoned.  'Nati did this several times with success.  I didn't see enough (IMO) of islolating Hall one-on-one in the flats enough.  He is  so freaking good its unbelievable and a great team player and will make a great pro one day.   We are too one dimensional its almost embarrasing.  The Cincy "D" keyed on Hall and played a very good game.  Yet, we did not alter our formations; change attack, etc.  We lined-up and hand the ball off to Hall on 1st and 2nd downs up the middle to set-up the 3rd and five.  We are very predicatable.  Need to use Hall as a decoy more because we are not fooling anyone with our game plan.  Overall, receivers played well with a few dropped balls but Chambers had one great 3rd down catch to keep a touchdown scoring drive alive.
