It would be glorious if they fought and bought themselves out for less but the B1g or SEC don't invite them. Then they could join the b12 for much less than what they thought they were valued at.

Good point.  Before anything would happen, the Tigers and Noles would have to have landing spots in the P2, right?

I would think so, but who knows. I dont think Florida or SC want to share the SEC Superiority recruiting pitch with another team in state. SC was in the ACC back in the day before my time. It would be good for ratings to have the rivalry games only go to the SEC. It is weird seeing WKU and Liberty play on  a Tuesday while watching the Lightning game.

No way would they take a step back and even think about big 12. The goal is to be in a conference that has the better exposure. Basically the top 3 conferences for exposure are SEC, Big Ten, and ACC.

I am not sure the SEC or B1G really need them at this point. Who knows what happened. The PAC is dead now .
