...back in September after we lost that game?  We could have/should have won...and yet I admit, I didn't think they looked that good and yet they continue to impress...

They're having a great season and I never expected that after our loss...means so much more now after those turnovers we "gave them" (please forgive the "cee-ism").

I am a little surprised they are doing this well.

Most people are saying the Big Ten is THE toughest conference this year. I don't understand it -- Isee lots of their teams in down years-- parity -- whatever. Hard to argue that PSU is not the best of the Big Ten. And how we fairwed against them in the first game may require a rematch.

WOuldn't that be wierd if USF played Penn State in a BCS bowl game rematch?

let me throw this nugget at you, as long as we are playing somewhat of a what if game.....

what if USF had run the table and all other thigns remained the same? We would end up beating like 6 ranked (at some point) teams.

Yeah-- I know-- it didn't happen. BUT now that we are in the BCS, we have a path-- potential-- to make it to the big prize. All it takes is the right guys and the right schedule and the right breaks.

I think we have to build up some good seasons first though-- the human element of the poll is made that way.

It's a final Miami 27, Va Tech 7  (seems like I've heard that one before)
