Bust: Here's the deal. South Florida was a bad team last year in Conference USA. Its best three players graduated, and its most promising returning player turned pro in Europe, and its preseason starting PG, David Sills, was kicked off the team this week. Final analysis: South Florida will be a really bad Big East team. http://www.sportsline.com/collegebasketball/story/9017076

Good thing no one had to pay for that insight...

I think most anyone could have come up with it but I think it is pretty funny how matter of fact they were about the whole thing. I wish someone could find a silver lining for me because I have tried and failed, miserably.

If he had done more research he would have found that none of our returning players show promise ::)

Collin Dennis comes to mind as someone who shows a lot of promise.

There is plenty of promise... not enough to make a big impact in the big east, but Jones/Dennis/Buckley are all solid players.

Holmes and Jones really hit the weight room in the off season.

Dennis is hurt right now, but he is our best defender and is every bit as good as Marlyn Bryant was on the defensive side of the ball, yet he can shoot very well.

Howard has excellent vision... a knack for reading the floor... i'm glad we picked this kid up.

Buckley, although redshirting last year, is a returning player.  He has a silky smooth quick release on his shot.  Very consistent, and he's got size.

We'll take our lumps over and over this year, but that is and has been expected, regardless of having prek or sills.

if our starting line up looks something like buck, melvyn Richardson, howard, holmes and solomon, i think we could have a chance to surprise some people, they way they played today at the scrimage was impressive, they really played great together
