USF ***** up and goes south.

UCF makes smart decisions and sits in the the AAC King's throne.

Although, I think the recent hire is GOLDEN. He must get support though, and at least 2-3 years to make a difference, unless he finds  another QF.

To be fair, this happened because a UCF ( young ) alum donated some podcast profits to the V foundation and asked if he could program a day, ESPN agreed.

UCF's smartest "decision" was having a 2 time college football COY fall into their lap ...

Pretty sure any program could have hired  George after he was dismissed by ND. If the UCF President calling him and offering him a job is falling into your lap, then so be it.

George, Frost, Heupel. Plus Danny has hired a top 25 Coaches, Mens B Ball, Womens B Ball, Mens soccer coach, maybe M and W tennis( forget) so once again, I guess they just fell into his lap.

Yeah, it's not just dumb luck.  It's far more of doing the right things and taking adv of opportunities.

So be it is right. GO had a taint on him, rightly or wrongly. There's no way UCF ever touches him if not for that "scandal" which is where I'm coming from with the falling into your lap. Out of college football 2 years until his buddy Orsini called him up. Don't get me wrong, a good move obviously but a COY did basically fall into your lap ...

Well, they built a stadium as poor as it is and they grabbed the limelight and profited off the stupidity of USF.  They did it right.

They also killed a player and then did all they could to stiff the family, which I'd hardly classify as a right thing ..... but do agree completely about the profiting off the stupidity of USF. Dumbest thing they could have done with UCF was giving them an almost 20 year head start on a football program. Slow and steady usually wins the race and that is a perfect example.
