I think the Hawaii Bowl is a good fit for UCF. It offers more exposure that the Houston Bowl and is a total kick butt location.

I doubt UCF gets Haw bid.. Nawlins more likely Haw said to be looking at tulsa and houston.

Bowls don't care about how many people stay.  That doesn't do anything for them.  Sure, they host city wants people staying.  Why do you think Miami has been to so many Orange Bowls and the Liberty Bowl hangs with Memphis?

Perfect example: the bowl here in Fort Worth. The first year they managed to get TCU to play in it and they had a good crowd. Last year it was Marshall and Cincinnati. No one came down from the Midwest, and then the temperature at kickoff was in the 20s so no one else showed up either.
