FIU, Pitt, Rutgers, Syracuse, and UCONN plus two more?

With 12 games we will have seven home games the 5 above plus two...

Pitt and Syracuse might attract some fans... Are attendance will be way off next year unless we can bring in someone else... Yes I know we may at famu (seems to be best move for increasing attendance).. The other team we need to get sooner rather than later.... For those that say we should not renew UCF wake up!  I would rather play them each year than div1aa teams... Would love to have 1 for 1 with psu... I hope that woolard is taking care of business now and not three months later....  I am afraid that our win against Lville may scare some would be opponents!  If we have to do 1 for 2 games then so be it....  FIU and FAU are weak solutions to schedule... Call Troy or Spiss I would rather do that then others...

I really wish we didn't have to see the likes of FIU or FAU on the schedule anymore. I am with you TMan, bring in UCF over a 1AA anyday. I was really looking forward to seeing Miami at Ray Jay next season, what happened to that?

How do you know that the final 2 games in 2006 will be home games?

Why not have a road game with a return game from the same team in 2007? We will need something along those lines since 2007 will have Louisville, WVU, Cincinnati and UNC.

usf's plan is to fill the remaining two games with a "guarantee" home game, likely against a I-AA opponent, and a road game to open a home-and-home series, likely against a BCS team. if you go with seven home games next year, then in 2007, when the big east is back to 3 home and 4 away, it sets up only five home games out of 12 that year. problem is, many schools are already booked for several years ...

A home and home with NC State would give us two trips to North Carolina, which would be great for me.

The teams with 7 home games already may come to Tampa in that season.  Not a bad list either.  I think KSU would come due to the relationship and they just traveled to Marshall.  I like the NE matchup but our Bulls would havta travel in '06 w/a return to Tampa in '07.  And I know Leavitt hates NE being a MO alum.

for all you idiots that want to schedule the toughest possible schedule and not just schedule a rivalry game with UCF, why dont we just schedule USC and Texas, bend over, bite down on our pillows, and pray that the bleeding isnt too excessive

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."

“This is not a broken football program by any means. It just needs to be united, to get everybody on the same page, share that same vision, and really to have that standard - best is the standard.”
