Question about student tickets

you can also buy tickets for non students to sit in the student section.  they are $16 at the sun dome box office.  you have to  be a student to buy them but you can get as many as you want

I AM A MEMBER OF STUDENT GOVT SENATE AND ACTUALLY THE WAY WE DO STUDENT TICKETS IS ABOUT TO CHANGE. We are thinking about implementing a lottery ie FLorida and Florida State, the students would then print tickets and then walk in any gate at the stadium.

Isn't a lottery ususlly implemented when demand is greater than supply?

Why not just allow the students to pick up tickets during the week (a 'la companion tickets) or get tickets at a designated area on game day then enter through any gate?

Simple economics.  If a consumer perceives something is in short supply, demand will go up.

That's why I think that we need to keep the upper deck closed if the demand of the extra seats will be marginal up there.

we ran out of student tickets at the UCF game and came close against FAMU.....the program is getting big and if there isint enough demand for a game all that means is that all that ask for a ticket will get one
