You really cant compare the two based on historical references but Smazza is right about the crop of Florida talent with the Cards. I certainly think that Louisville has developed a strong model in terms of recruitment and coaching. You would think that a SEC school (yes, we are talking UK but still) would be able to develop a better program vs. a CUSA program (now a BIG EAST program). Further, the recent rise of Louisville is just that, recent, and certainly we could have risen to the current status of Louisville with some better recruiting breaks. However, with all of this being said, you cant beat a program that did not have a team a decade ago and now is on the upper tier of college football. I wouldnt trade what we have for ANYTHING.
