USF/RJS open Upper Deck on UCF Side

Right, people would be scrambling all over themselves to bump up their donations so they wouldn't miss out on the UCF game ........... These are the kind of posts where the comedic value goes off the chart.

For the record, when the Kanigits build their stadium, there's no way they should move our game back to the Citrus Bowl IF we're still playing unless it makes sense for them financially and it doesn't look like it will...

TB...in most Big Time Schools....its usually ONLY the mid-high level Booster (save a few hundred for students) that end up with tickets for the most popular road games...

I'm thinking DOWN THE ROAD....when hopefully USF and UCF continue to GROW their fan base and Booster Memberships.

Just wait till your games in G'ville in '08 and '09....and SEE who will get tickets....

There will be a few hundred for students...the band...player/coaches/staff/administration comps....and about 3,000 left...mostly to Booster's Only (low level Boosters might end up with ZIP).

That's the scenario that most Big Time Schools go thru several times a year....and hopefully UCF and USF will go thru in the near future as well.

Bear in mind that although USF has sold more than 15,000 season tickets, those were purchased by about 3,200 "donors"...

Not to mention that by then, Florida will be an average team again, so it should be easy to buy tickets at the stadium... ;-)
