USF/RJS just released tickets to UCF Student Gov't in Section 329 in the Upper Deck (located in the corner above the UCF Sections).

Guess the decision to open an Upper Deck has already been made.

Said the "Yankee" Jemele Hill who is "stuck" covering this game for the Orlando Sentinel.....

Anyone else think that she has the article already WRITTEN???

Like...Comments about all the NFL Signage in the Stadium...empty seats in the upper deck...no on-campus stadium...no Frat/Sorority Houses close by...poor records of the 2 teams over the past year...fumbles/interceptions (good teams never have TURNOVERS...do they?), 1 small Marching Band...another not so big...etc...etc...

Hey...if I graduated (I ass-u-me she did) from Michigan State...I would dislike College Football too!

I just checked ticketmaster and there are no 3rd level tickets sales available as of 2 minutes ago.

Where did you hear that the upper deck was opened up?

Does this mean one upper deck is opening up?  That should be enough I'd bet.  I know the lower levels are pretty much filled up, according to ticketmaster...I haven't bought my tickets yet (I'm waiting for my dang friends to figure out who's paying who) but each time I check another section is taken.

FYI...the Upper Deck is usually only opened up for group sales at first.

THey are saying the upper deck got opened because the 2nd allotment of UCF student tickets are in the 3rd level.

I realize that, I just wonder about the validity of the information. There has been a lot of misinformation floating around recently.

Remember, FAMU was going to help attendance hit 50K and that UCF was going to bring 10K. Forgive me for being a little skeptical....but if they truely bring 10K I gladly tip my hat to them and take their money ;^)

BTW...I still can't believe that the final attendance was under 40K, b/c I was there and just about every lower level seat was filled and that didn't include the folks in the luxury suites and the upper deck. My pictures from the game don't lie.

yea I was at the FAMU game too...and if the lowel section truely does hold 41,000 then I do not see how it was under 40,000.  They might of been 2,000 empty seats spread throughout the lower bowl but there was quite a bit up in the 3rd level as well.

as for the 3rd level tickets being distributed to UCF students...i believe it.

If the series continues, every other year this game will need to be played in the Citrus Bowl, even when UCF has an on campus stadium.
