Penn State played as bad as they could have and still one by 10....

bad ? ... consistant with your 4-7 reccord from last year.

...and the score did not indiacte the dominance PSU had over USF! Robinsons turnovers in the red zone is what made this game even close, which it really wasnt, that 17-0 start should have kept going and ended about 40-3 guys...

It's funny after all the 40-0 predictions on the Penn State Board and all the hype about a much improved offense and a great defense, a 10 point victory is called "dominating".   If the wide receivers actually hold on to the ball in the first quarter, I think we see an even closer game, maybe even a different outcome.

Talking to some PSU alums after the game at the rathskellar (spelling?).....they gained respect for our team.

One guy said never hearing of south florida before the schedule came out he was expecting a blow out but was surprised how we battled.

One other thing they all said was BEAT PITT

One guy was cheering USF---USF....BEAT Pitt....though it was late and he was drunk.

95% of the fans we ran into were great.

I was impressed with how our defense and entire team never quit no matter how tough the situation got during the game. I think this team is vastly improved over last seasons squad.

I believe we will improve and have a shot at winning5 maybe even 6 games.

Went to the game.  Beaver Stadium - Typical college stadium.  Would not trade RJS for it even if it was on campus.  Hate pissing in troughs at FB games.  Bench seats.  Replay boards should be bigger.  Similar to UofSC w/o the round-d-rounds at the stadium corners.

I agree with everything you say except this. I would kill for an on campus college atmosphere stadium. Benches, band, the echo, everything.

Sadly USF still does not draw the students well. Walking around campus combined I see more Noles, Canes, and Gator hats and shirts and USF wear. Most students I know go home on the weekends.

Many recruits are very big into atmosphere, Ray Jay is the typical  cavernous non character NFL stadium, during the games the crowd is content and quiet at points.

WE NEED AN ON CAMPUS STADIUM!

I agree with Joe.  I almost get teary-eyed when I go the away games because of the nostalgia.  Ok, that may have been an exaggeration but you get the drift.

The Students did make a big jump in attending games last 2 years.

I'm bringing 3 that combined for 2 usf home games in 3 years to the FAMU game.  Student attendance is picking up.

And PSU is so classy as a whole its insane.  Their fans are a model for nearly everyone.
