You're right UAB isn't a middle of the pack team in CUSA, they're likely lower 2/3rds.  I mean WE handed it to them last year at their house.

The four teams the Big East lost to this weekend were:

Penn State, Notre Dame, West Virginia, and Illinois.

Rutgers choked against Illinois in the fourth quarter, so it could have been a different story.  Who knows, if USF hadn't given PSU 14 points, we could have gone 6-2 this weekend, with one of those losses head to head (WVU over Syracuse).

Penn State and Illinois are bad Big Ten teams until they prove otherwise.

Cincinnati barely beat an awful MAC team in Eastern Michigan.

UConn's win was over an even more awful MAC team, Buffalo.

Pittsburgh not only lost, but looked incompetent vs. Notre Dame.

Even Louisville struggled a bit, beating Kentucky (bad SEC team) by only 7. We can cut UofL a little slack for this being a road rivalry game, but half the SEC will beat Kentucky by four touchdowns.

If Big East schools want to be regarded on par with the other five BCS conferences, we could at least start winning some games against bad teams from those leagues.

Give it some time.  Its only been one week.  Geeeeeesh.  Pitt was the only team overmatched from the games I saw.  And I saw all of them.
