Freshman out there, who read this article in the new student issue?  I saw it myself at my orientation, but no one mentioned anything about free games, let alone all of them? Why the hell not?

And what's the deal ripping on the paper? Good article for once?

Anyways, I know I'll be using my card from now on!

"Ripping on the paper" has become tradition with its history of bad pub for USF sports, and often the school in general.  In the past some of its info has been wrong too.  For bulls fanatics such as those of us on this site (who are willing to fudge espn polls just so that USF is the "fan favorite" to win the big east), misinformed reporting of this sort is uncalled for.

So seeing a good article is refreshing.  Heck, even seeing an average one is.

Well, maybe it is unfair for me to give my opinion since I've been a USF fan since I was 9 or 10 and knew it already, but I'm pretty sure it was mentioned at my orientation in June. The student body prez and VP gave a speech and said several times that we are (students) season ticket holders because we paid for it. It was said several times during their speech.

btw, I went out to the campus today and found my classes. The CIS building is absolutely beautiful.

I'm glad the SG reps pumped it, but Athletics should be there giving a 15 minute discussion of what's available to students from their area.  We always hear that they want students there, but don't see much in the way of proof.  I've said it before, and I'll say it again, they market themselves externally, not internally.

To those of you still at USF, share this article with everyone you know.  Tell them about it, e-mail it, make sure the word is out.  One of the best things about college life is the athletics.

Here, at USC (South Carolina), the Frats and Sororities come to games all dressed up.  The girls all wear dresses.

I think they look great.  I believe this occurs at most SEC schools.

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.

Last I checked the scoreboard doesn't have a spot for current bank balance on it.
