This guy interviewing has NO clue about USF.   :-/

Duemig didn't start off very well by introducing CJL as the coach of the Lightning and referencing Courtney "Dawson" and then mispronouncing Pat Julmiste's name, but he was OK the rest of the interview.  I am certainly not a Deumig fan and really didn't care for him teasing the interview by saying he would have "Jimmy Leavitt" on the show later.

As far as the content of the interview, CJL didn't tip his hand when asked about the QB position battle, but did talk at length about his efforts to address the lack of discipline displayed in past seasons. Have to give a nod to Deumig for asking the question and not just lobbing softballs the entire time.  CJL also talked about the move to the Big East and mentioned the new athletic building / the ongoing project to upgrade all  of our athlectics facilities.  

All in all, good exposure.  Unfortunately, they didn't take calls...

Back to the salt mine.

How embarassing.... the first call taken after the Leavitt interview was someone asking about the Gators.
