Grothe is not even close to PJ in arm strength. I imagine he and Denson have similar arm strength, but I haven't seen Denson throw - just going by what I read.Grothe will be much better off to RS and work on arm strength, adding weight, etc. If he works hard to develop his physical tools to match his head and leadership ability, he will be awesome in 2 years when his time comes. I don't car ehow much PJ improved during the offseason, he didn't do it in front of 100000 screaming fans or on Natl TV. When game pressure is on it's a completely different situation that off season workout playing catch. PJ is a DI-AA QB not a BE QB. Guess Denson isn't either.
