the Oracle previews the upcoming season.

the article really highlights our experienced line-up

“All those guys are (at least) juniors now, they’ve been through the fires,” first-year coach Billy Mohl said. “They have hundreds of hundreds of at-bats under their belt. The pitchers have tons of innings under theirs.”

Season kicks off tomorrow (Friday, 2/16) against UNC.

The Tar Heels are coming ranked #6 in the preseason rankings

Sounds like Mohl might just be Kingston 2.0

Cautiously optimistic, hoping for a return trip to the postseason

Mentioned a number of times tonight was establishing a guy or two that can bridge from the starter to Perez.  Tonight, it didn't work out that well....one bad pitch got UNC back into it.  Let's see who becomes that 7th, 8th inning guy.
