The AAC was favored in most of its bowls last year and went 2-7.  I remember being pretty shocked by that.

We were 1-1 against the P6 and 1-6 against the rest. A good portion of the time, one of the teams isn't as into the actual bowl game itself as the other one is, and it's usually the perceived higher level team. This will be in full display 1/1/2018 in Atlanta ...
