I do remember these guys but don't believe I've seen them for years. Not sure if they ran around the stadium along with the Beef Studs or not - probably did. The dudes in the photo are probably in their upper thirties by now! Maybe wizard man is hoping to get his spot on this page. The Beef Studs have certainly maintained their presence over the years and should be the highlighted subject of the photo on the web page instead of these guys by now. Green and Gold Guys The Green and Gold Guys and their painted bodies first appeared in 2000 as a crazy spirit idea of two freshman students. The Green and Gold guys are at all home football and basketball games and even make road game appearances. In 2003 a second painted group of students, calling themselves The Beef Studs, also took to USF spirit duty. These guys started a tradition in an empty stadium and in 2010-11 it seemed to die out probably due to our product on the field. To me this weird **** is what traditions are all about.
