In the end Barry Bonds will have a legacy much like Ty Cobb did.  He will be remembered as a great baseball player but more so for being an a$$hole.  So it doesnt matter how many homeruns he hits he will never be remembered in the same company as great men like Aaron and Ruth.

Spence... that is Bonds' EXCUSE for hating boston... I think it goes deeper than that... he is a racist, he is an a$$hole, he is a cheat... i think his problem with boston lies somewhere in there.  Boston may have been the last to integrate baseball, but that doesn't make the city racist... as they were leaders in integrating basketball, and hell, a leader against slavery.

absolutely, and he will be passed by on the home run total soon enough by people with at least moderatly good personalities (pay-rod for one, yes, i am giving arod his props, i feel dirty for it though )

Technically, in that ESPN article, he never DENIED saying it... he just got angry and tried deflecting blame...
