Jim I don't think that I would say Julmiste is better.  The Robinson guy had limited playing time at QB against much better competition.   Robinson did throw a lot of ints, but PJs int numbers are lower due to the fact that a lot of his throws weren't catchable by either team.

Robinson stats were bad from last year but don't look to far inbto those.  He was our starting WR last year and part time Qb.  In between he missed 3 games with a concussion.  Missing time with an injury and not getting to pratice at QB will really hurt your numbers.  He now has been practicing full time at QB and loked sharp in the spring, going 7 for 7 and 149yards in the spring game.  Add the threat to run he can be a very effective Qb.  PSu certainly will be a 2 touchdown favorite in this game.

Nothing new here... At least they are talking about the game.  Before our first Pitt game they didn't talk down about us.   They ignored us.   The buzz on the Pitt board was all about Penn State's recent difficulties.   There was no thought of USF until after the game.

Right now everyone sees us as a cupcake.   Until we get back to winning they will continue to view us as an easy win.

We could be a huge surprise with some semi decent QB play and a little of our D from '01.   We have a great running back.   With any passing attack at all our offense does a 180, but my gut tells me we are still a year away.   Too bad the convergence of our stud QB's and Hall isn't over a little longer time frame.

This year I will be happy with a season that gets over five hundred.   This should be very doable since we have one or two cupcakes of our own.

we'll be lucky to score one touchdown.

Why even bother playing the game?

Let's just forfeit and stay home!

AZZCLOWN!

Just to chime in.  PSU was a good defense last year and not a lot of O.  They seemed to be very unprepared.  Robinson was getting baptised by fire.  They couldn't even handle the snap.  However, they did have some horses on the offense, and their new OC was trying to slowly bring them along.  Robinson is one heckuva an athlete with a good arm.  He makes brash decisions, he doesn't get that deer in the headlights look you see on Julmiste.  If he's really got it together, they will be awesome.  Especially considering the two "five star" prospects they picked up this february.  If Robinson doesn't come out slinging they got this guy named Morelli waiting in the wings and that kid is no slouch either.  I think PSU is going to have a great year, and unfortunately you guys have to be their first opponent.
