Does ESPN no longer have a contract with the SEC?  If so I am sure gonna miss their saturday night SEC matchups.

SEC games are TBA on ESPN due to the fact that CBS has the first pick of key SEC matchups every week.  It normally goes to CBS, ESPN, ESPN2, JP, and ESPN Regional/Comcast South.

There is an outside chance that we will play one game on ESPN or ESPN2, but it depends on how the season goes and if ESPN decides to pick up another Big East game; however, it seems unlikely we will be on national TV this year.

Agreed. Given last years performance plus playing in a watered down BE, the demand would have to be more local than anything.

I think our best chance, as it stands now prior to the season, to get our team on TV is:

at PSU

It is a long holiday weekend (Labor Day) and ESPN and the other networks usually like to load up this weekend with games.

If we were to have any other games it would all depend on our perfromance and they would most likely be at the end of the year.  I am thiking maybe at UConn if actually mattered.

No USF... but that means all USF games will be played on Saturdays... Notice that nearly ALL of the Big East games currently slated for ESPN/ESPN2 are NOT on a Saturday...

Sunday, Sept. 4  Louisville at Kentucky  3:30 p.m.  ESPN

Wednesday, Sept. 28  Cincinnati at Miami (Ohio)  7 p.m.  ESPN2

Friday, Sept. 30  Pittsburgh at Rutgers  8 p.m.  ESPN2

Friday, Oct. 7  Syracuse at Connecticut  8 p.m.  ESPN2

Wednesday, Nov. 2  Connecticut at West Virginia  7 or 7:30 p.m.  ESPN2

Thursday, Nov. 3  Pittsburgh at Louisville  7:30 p.m.  ESPN

Wednesday, Nov. 9  West Virginia at Cincinnati  7 or 7:30 p.m.  ESPN2

Friday, Nov. 11  Rutgers at Louisville  TBD  ESPN2

Thursday, Nov. 24  Pittsburgh at West Virginia  8 p.m.  ESPN

Saturday, Dec. 3  Louisville at Connecticut  TBD  ESPN

Louisville = 4

Pittsburgh = 3

Cincinnati = 2

Rutgers = 2

Syracuse = 1

Connecticut = 3

West Virginia = 3

South Florida = 0

Count on the PSU game making ESPN Plus, My Mother lives in PA and when I was up their early last season all the PSU out of conference games where shown locally on ESPN Plus

It's not about USF.  I guess the ESPN crew thinks that no one is going to be too interested in Penn State this season.  I think that's a mistake.  My opinion is that this is going to be a great year for Penn State.  Watch for them to make some noise.
