Seems to be quite a few choices of companies. We can do the 2 of us but it is more fun when you can get a small group together. On this one web site they list the tasting rooms for Paso Robles http://centralcoastlimoservice.com/paso-robles-wine-tour/. Turley zins are great but there a lot of great wineries on that list. On the San Luis Obispo list we know Edna Valley and Laetitia http://centralcoastlimoservice.com/packages-limousine/wine-tasting-limo-tours/. Either reply here or send me a PM. Not booking flights until we know what we're doing out there. Tempted to stay for the rib fest in Stark on Labor Day weekend but missed the last 2 home games because of that. So will probably pass this time. Bob Donaldson's friend won the rib contest 2 years ago and placed 2nd last year. Great freaking ribs.

Dis is gonna be FUN!

Dis is gonna be FUN! Well, we just got done booking flights and in the process of booking hotels. We'll be in San Jose Fri & Sat nights. Will be in Paso Robles from the Monday before until Friday. So, yes, we do need to meet up again.

Didn't seem like much, what's there worth seeing? Family? Edit: looking at wikipedia, looks like there are some great hot springs, Oh yeah, and wineries. LOL Same things to do in Paso Robles as Ojai; relax and drink a lot of wine. I plan on getting to Cali that Friday night before the game otherwise I'd be in for a mid week wine tour. Some great wineries in the central coast there; especially if you include Santa Barbara(Ojai and Santa Barbara are probably farther south than you are going). Another cool attraction in the Paso Robles area is Hearst Castle; definitely recommend the tour if you've never been.

If anybody wants to congregate there, I'm all for it. Near the Hearst Castle is Esalon. Never been, but have driven by. Always wanted to go. Hearst, not so much. After seeing the Hermitage in Leningrad, wealthy overindulgence doesn't do much for me anymore...

And we do want to see Hearst Castle. Wonder why I didn't see the responses to this earlier.

Haven't had much wine lately. Will fix that tomorrow night with a Caymus wine dinner at Roy's. I'm thinking that when I hit Go To Next Unread Topic that it doesn't jump to the travel board.
