I don't know how good that would be in the long run.  How many Sun Belt opponents do we want to play, after all we are a BCS school.  Better opponents are out there and have also we have been reported to have had conversations with them for future schedules.

I believe that these teams include:  Tulane, Indiana, E. Michigan, etc.  Although, maybe not the best opponents they do seem better than whatever the Sun Belt can provide.

Also, I recall last year around the So. Miss. game, that they were willing to discuss future games with USF as did ECU.  

Army and Navy should always be considered as future BULL opponents - the service academies are never looked down upon, even in their worst years.  Besides, they both have national and international followings - good for TV.

true but we need to worry about getting the 6 wins required to go to a bowl game if we had fiu and fau next year that should be 2 of the 6... and UCF should be another easy win

I agree that we need to find the quickest way to six but we should also be concerned about the best way.

If we are bowl eligible and others in the conference are bowl eligible, I would think that the conference would want to showcase the team that played the best competiton and had the better TV appeal.  If the conference passed us by then we would have to wait for at-large spots.  Not saying this will always happen but if it did I would hate the fact that it occurred because we constantly played a softer OOC schedule compared to the other members within the conference.

Indiana and USF are considering a home-and-home series in 2008 and 2009.

He is doing a GREAT job, since hes been here we have gotten:

1-1 with Miami

1-1 with North Carolina

1-0 with FAMU

2-1 with FIU

and he hasnt been around one year. I remember when many where questioning what he was doing.
