Guest S. Bien
Yeah but the WR corps at USF was hampered by very bad QB play.  In fact, people made the excuse that when USF receivers dropped passes it was because they were shocked the ball actually made it to them. You're playing the "Yeah But" game, which doesn't work in the real world. You either caught it or you didn't....everything else are just excuses or regrets. I am not cutting on you or our receivers, and some of their drops were the result of poor QB play, and much of it had to do with youth, and newness to the system but until it's proven a thing of the past it's still a weakness. Both of our teams had a lot of players "disappear" from our respective teams for varoius reasons at the 11th hour last year. Hopefully the injury bug, among other things that keep players off the field unexpectedly, will stay away and allow the coaches to practice with and play in games the players available. One thing I think we can all agree on...can September get here fast enough??? Pat actually would like to be a QB, thats what he played in high school and was the backup at GT. They moved him to WR because the starting QB came in the same year as him. I'm sure he'll compete for the QB position at USF, though he is willing to play reciever.
