Look at it another way, he has no pressure to win immediately and has a chance to build this team the way HE wants.  If, he succeeds, it won't be too long before he gets another top job, a little older and a lot wiser.

Agreed....the North Carolina faction of the ACC is used to seeing the Final Four, year in and year out.  Duke, Wake, Carolina...those would be extremely harsh on a "new broom".

Fawho keeps on impressing.   They must have some serious dough and connections to make this happen.  Name recognition alone will help them build the program.   They have passed us in baseball, thanks to a gorgeous baseball stadium, they got themselves into 1-a for football, and now hire a big name basketball.

I can't imagine he's making much at FAU, so this is  a chance for him to make a couple post-season appearances and then move on.

He was in over his head at UNC, it will be interesting to see if he can get the job done at a mid-major.
