Anyone know why Meltzer withdrew today?  He was playing well.  Hopefully not an injury.

Bulls destroy the field for the victory and Rigel Fernandes wins the individual.   :GoBulls:

Golf Week has USF #21 in new team rankings.

They also have a nice story on Fernandez and USF winning this tourney.

Did great last year, and doing great again this year. I don't know why we're underdogs so often.

Yeah they sniffed the championships with a bunch of younger guys. Don't really quite understand how these rankings work though. USF played extremely well to get up to #21, but other teams (FSU,UF) are still ranked extremely high.

In the fall season, we were trying out some new players and lineups. As result, we had a couple of poor showings and that dropped us out of the top 25 in the various polls.

The rankings cover both the fall and now the spring season, so with this win we moved up quite a bit.

One of our new guys, who performed well in the fall, Oskar B, returned home to Sweden and is turning pro. Chris D appears to have adequately replaced him in the spring starting five.

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
