  1. I believe it has been said before that the focus would be on the indoor training facility before an OCS, if that is the case then where would that fit in on the master plan?
  2. He is doing a great job getting our name out there. I am always surprised at how soft spoken he is. Can't wait to see what effect his method has on the field this year, and on recruitment next.
  3. He said they would. Keep checking here http://tampa.cbslocal.com/show/the-commish/ They interviewed Moore this morning before DW and his interview is already up. Hopefully, I check that link before I posted and just saw the listen live. Chop Chop Justin. I have it muted now, am I the only one that hates the Jim Rome show? I miss the old Fan Lineup literally had it on all day.
  4. I had a customer walk in and missed all 3 interviews. Any chance the pod casts will be uploaded for us to get a listen?
  5. against Miami....0-2 against FSU...don't appear to have played against UF .... 0-2 but UCF is 3-6 against the East Carolina Pirates...now there's a rivalry. To deny that the UCF x USF game is not huge is a mistake. It is. Call it a rivalry, don't call it a rivalry...whatever helps you sleep nights is fine, but it is indeed bigger than SMU & Memphis. How many times do we bemoan that we're in the same conference and competing for the same recruits? We make fun of the frying pan and George O'Liar-y. And the fact that we generate this much keyboard time to this game indicates that it has a special place in all of our itty-bitty hearts. I just haven't seen this much angst since the great Eye Gouge Fest. This is my point. I consider our games vs FSU and Miami to be rivalries in their infancy, huge fan passion especially towards the FSU games. Yet I don't consider our 0-1 with UF to = a rivalry. When we play UF again sure it will be a big game but until we beat them we have nothing to stand on. Same with UCF the game matter yes, but is it a Rivalry? not yet more like a nagging little brother that finally hit puberty.
  6. Just curious, and too lazy to look it up myself. What are the records of: UCF vs UF UCF vs FSU UCF vs Miami? btw UCF fan, don't get me wrong, a rivalry would be fun... but you actually have to step up and prove it first. This year is your chance better not muck it up. Until then it is just another conference game that happens to be down the road.
  7. And based on our recruiting classes, it won't take long to overtake little UCF. LoL! If our Holtz error is so devastating then why are we currently 52nd recruiting nationally (bulls247) compared to UCF 90th? I mean clearly you are an equal conference mate now and should be drawing the same level of recruits right? Or even looking at 2013 USF 53rd, UCF 81st.. 2012 USF 51st, 101st
  8. Just as UCF is USF's rival. Like it or not. No, it's not "just as" UF/FSU. That one is based on history and tradition. Right now, ours is the same as our rivalry with SMU, ECU, Houston, et al in our quest for a conference title .... BUT the potential is definitely there for the I4 rivalry to be elevated above the rest of the conference but to try and equate it to UF/FSU at this point is a joke. Right. USF fans are just as interested in the SMU game as the UCF game. You can honestly tell me that a loss to UCF won't eat at you a lot more than a loss to SMU? Yeah Just about. The top 3 games for me are Miami, Louisville, and Rutgers, probably in that order too. If UCF is going to get a win under their belt against us this is the year to do it. We are down right now and it is their best chance. I have a lot of faith in what this team will look like 2-3 years down the road and I don't think UCF will be hanging with us at that point.
  9. Man... and I thought I was getting good and ready for football season by picking this one up. That one is a beauty.
  10. IF. IF they do actually consider an OCS what about the land that they use for the Ren Fest? Or (another huge leap here) extending Leroy Collins across Fowler and by purchasing the land used for Central Garden and Pet? Leroy Collins is already the big entrance to the University.
  11. Yay! Looks good on the surface, hope we see it on the field this fall. This should give White a good chance to get into our system and develop.
  12. I can only Imagine that this beefed up schedule might excite some possible QB transfers, and future recruits. Hopefully we land one quickly to give Taggart the ammunition to repeat 2009
  13. It is great to see him stepping up. It is going to be fun to watch him grow. Can't wait till fall!
  14. I hope we pick him up. I wonder if there is anyone else that Miami shorted that needs a bus ticket.
  15. Indeed but depending on if we get anyone else at QB I don't know if he RS over our current QB's. Floyd was very hard to watch this year. Floyd was tough to watch at times but with another year and with better coaching he could be decent enough that we RS White. Plus we have Bobby also which I think will be a senior? I would guess Bobby would get it over Floyd but I am sure CWT is going to go with whoever picks up his system best and not worry about which of these 3 will be here 3-4 years out. I am sure either next year or the year after he lands an outstanding candidate though White may develop very well. I could be wrong but I see RS is more of a strategy for the long term to build and develop players to get the best 4 years possible. Given our current situation we need to give it our all in the last showing of the Big East in the BCS era and for recruiting next year.

  17. I thought he also recommitted then decommitted after Taggart. It is fine to change your mind. The problem came up when he was bleeding green and gold then suddenly decided to change once he got some more attention. It is a shame he would be a good fit with Taggart but this Mike White kid is looking pretty good, at least good enough to get us through 1-2 years before Taggart does some more recruiting magic. It would be nice is AW decided to still come on board, he could really make a name for himself here but there will be more QB's in our future and I have great confidence in our new coach putting this team back on track.
  18. Yeah, that worked out well for Paterno. If we ever build a on campus stadium we could call it Selmon Stadium and Taggart Field Go Bulls I'm excited too but lets see some winning on the field before we start handing out statues and stadiums. Oh c'mon, this is the new era - EVERYBODY gets a statue... lol, beats bobble heads. We could have a hot Taggert Grill..and be on TV Well last year I was thinking about converting a old bus into a BBQ food truck, seems to have even more meaning now haha.

  21. Or he might be referring to the same day (as comittment) visit 1/28/2013: G.A. Mangus and Deke Adams from South Carolina Gamecocks visits Deadrin Senat
