  1. Probably didn't help that Mack is a freshman. He would have a huge mountain to climb to get 1st team reps anytime in the near future.
  2. He's not doing that well this year. He still has more games to improve though. And an entire year next year. http://www.maxpreps.com/athlete/chris-oladokun/E9UaQ_TqEeKZ5AAmVebBJg/gendersport/football-stats.htm
  3. The main thing that concerns me is that he is completing only 39% of his passes. Not good.
  4. Taggart should work on the receiver's hands while I will be taking care of my liver...
  5. I guess the game has numbed by memory .... we threw bubble screen after bubble screen on Saturday?? I started drinking heavily after the 1st quarter so my memory of this game might be a little fuzzy. Other than the TD pass, the longest completion was for 7 yards by Flowers. I do remember a few sideline passes and backward passes though. But then again, with a 25% CP, your'e not going to have much confidence to throw the ball downfield...
  6. Another difference is that David Reaves was calling the plays for Bench's team during the scrimmage. It was a completely different mindset than what we are seeing today. Bench was able to spread the defense by throwing all over the field rather than bubble screen after bubble screen to the sidelines and negative yardage passes. Mike White's team did the same style of play calling that we are seeing now and that netted them a whopping 3 points during the spring game.
  7. Just use some topical cream. It will go away with time...
  8. Perfect example of how much QB play can make a difference: Watch the UCF vs Penn State game before and after Dinovo was taken out. UCF would have most likely won had they started the other QB and not Dinovo. UCF looked like a completely different team.
  9. This defense does not work well against the spread. Better tighten up the pass coverage or else Saturday will be a long game for us!
  10. White has no confidence right now. Believe it or not, he is actually a very accurate passer. If he can find his game and quit aiming his passes, he will be alright. If not, on to Bench.
  11. We need to start off the game with a few completions to open it up some and allow Mack to run all over them. We need to cut out some of the bubble screens and throw down the field every now and then... Worked well for Bench during the spring game... White threw just about all bubble screens during the spring game and that is why they lost by more than 30 points.

  13. I know the season just began, it's just nice seeing a bull atop a statistical category that is positive for a change... http://espn.go.com/college-football/statistics
  14. I'm assuming David Reaves was the one calling plays for the white team during the spring game, since he was the coach. He did an awesome job! The green team, coached by Lockette, looked like a mirror image of what we saw last year. I am completely on board with Reaves and Wulff calling the plays.
  15. I know a coach for NFMHS. I'll get some insider insight on Marlon.
  16. Wasn't that kid in the heart of SEC country with no SEC offers at the time... or am I confusing him with someone else? I think so, and I vaguely remember something about judo as well. It was Bruno Reagan and he flipped to Vanderbilt.
  17. We have Cameron Ruff also, who as of a couple weeks ago is the "heir apparent" to Reiter. http://www.tampabay.com/blogs/bulls/assessing-the-bulls-preseason-depth-chart/2190957
  18. I'm going to predict it now... Flowers will win the Heisman five years in a row including his redshirt year!
