    Yet, he still has no offers, very weird. I'll trust every coach in the country and hope we don't offer him. Something's wrong here. I believe it's more of a case of which school he went to. If he went to Armwood or St. Thomas, it would be a different story... What else can the kid do to prove himself??

    We have no choice but to use what we have on offense. The biggest problem will be on the OL where we now lack guys that have the mobility for a spread system.... Our OL can't block for the power run so we aren't really losing anything. The guys we lost to graduation were recruited for a more finesse system and struggled with the power run offense. The guys that are replacing them were guys Taggart recruited for a power run offense and not the spread. Once again the majority of the offensive line will not match the type of scheme we are trying to run which will lead to struggles. It will be easier for the offensive line to go from a power run to the spread than the other way around though...

    The good news is we will probably have a top 128 recruiting class this year!

    A really awesome situation would be to have 8 power conferences of 12 teams or more, and the conference champion from each meet in an 8 team playoff to determine the national champion. That would only make too much sense. But that would require the networks to take their feet off the heads off the group of 5 conferences. We need an NCAA MLK to step forward and promote equality!

    That would be true for 4 of them, but I see what you are saying. But the number of bowl games, in all, will probably remain the same with a couple teams winning multiple bowl games each bowl season. This year the national champion will win the BCS championship and the Sugar/Rose Bowl.

    It won't lead to more games. Currently one playoff game is the Sugar Bowl and the other is the Rose Bowl. They just take the place of the major BCS bowl games.

    I guess Ziarno would be my Ironside. I went through the high school stat leaders and Ziarno's stats really stood out. Once I saw the his video and that Lockette was recruiting him, I was on the bus.

    I don't know if there was anything to sign. You must have a scholarship to sign a NLI. Which is the reason why walk-ons don't sign anything and we didn't have a sholarship available, so I guess they are treating him as a walk-on until one becomes available. If I am going to walk on to the team, may I sign a National Letter of Intent?     Finished the season with 3,111 passing yards, 70% CP, 44 TD's, and 2 INT's. He also has a 140 QB rating, one of the highest in the nation! I really hope we offer!

    He basically threw the ball 55 yards off one foot in the play I mentioned above. Anybody saying that he has a weak arm has not seen enough of Flowers to make that determination.
