    UCF returned that last pick to FG range. It likely would have ended up 23-26 instead. The offense's inability to capitalize on turnovers lost us the game. Though I think the call was terrible and said to go for the FG at the time it is true that not scoring points after turnovers was the huge factor.

    They are playing the weakest schedule in LA Tech History, the fans are not impressed with the wins he has gotten. From their site "Holtz must get a free round of golf for each timeout he keeps in his pocket. He has to lead the country in timeouts not used. Holtz didn't use a single timeout in the first half against Rice. Holtz's timeout management has been horrible all season, especially in the Kansas and Army games before halftime. We went into halftime both games having to kick field goals with timeouts left in Holtz's pocket when we would have had a shot at a touchdown in both of those games if had he used his timeouts." Plus ca change, plus c'est la meme chose!
