    COLD. Can't be perfectly sure but weatherchannel.com lists 39 degrees, feels like 30, winds to 14 mph.

    I still think Skip gets a pass for next year because it is a de facto rebuilding year, then the 2014 season will be what decides his future. If Woolard is really retiring in 3 years things will start aligning at that point. There will be less of a buyout, he will have been given more than a fair shot to show his abilities and if the Woolard retirement is true the guy who gave Holtz his extension will be transitioning things to the replacement. I hope to be proved wrong and get to take pics of the UHaul van on December 3rd but I feel it's 2 more years.

    I am shocked, shocked to find university presidents lying about their realignment plans!

    Floyd still needs to work on handling the snap. Still muffing a couple even in shot gun formation. Still though for his place on the depth chart he was serviceable after the first couple series. Not much help from the receivers.

    Zero chance of Holtz being fired. Yes, the most depressing zero of all.

    Historically bad clock management. Settling for meaningless field goals when Floyd could have used the practice of throwing under pressure to make a touchdown, albeit a meaningless touchdown. Gimmick plays lighting up our defense. Defense jumping leads to long bombs for 6. I can only imagine how bad UConn must feel losing to us. After all that I still think injuries to Daniels et. al. give Holtz and Woolard cover to let him continue stealing money for 2 more years. Next year is a given rebuliding year so Holtz will get cut slack for 2013 and be allowed to coach 2014 with "his guys" . Then maybe he goes away.

    I see a very pyrrhic victory. We struggled against a team that looks like they don't belong in a Division I conference. We lose Daniels which gives Holtz cover for losing the next three games. The horrible UCONN offense gift wraps some turnovers giving Cosh and the D a reprieve.
