  1. Depth chart doesn't always mean starting lineup either...keeping everybody (other team included) on their toes seems to be a big part of CWT
  2. I saw a pic with the white helmet USF Football â€@USFFootball Getting ready for the first season of the American. Decals going on the Bulls helmets. #USF #CoachTsBus pic.twitter.com/vJPwwcqViK
  3. Coaches are supposed to build around the talent they have, not completely change it, look at what UF and the Broncos had to do with Tebow. Both teams did ok, SH tried to fit a square into a round role and it didn't work...and got him fired. BJ was always good on the run and could make plays running or passing, his biggest issue in my opinion was always trying to do too much and usually led to the turnover or big sack. With that team and talent around him he knows he can dump the ball or throw it away and move on. I have to imagine WT is building around the talent he has and utilizing their strengths and developing their weaknesses to put a game plan together.
  4. Will be interesting to see which QB comes off the Bench first, pun intended, if Floyd struggles or we get a big lead
  5. Pressure up front helps the secondary a ton, so if we can have the DL to perform like we have seen in the past I think we can be OK. Will there be some mistakes, yes..but we knew we would be young at this spot and I'm trusting the coaches as well
  6. Here is a common sense answer...a few go and few stay. Take a couple of roadies with you on the walk, greet your team and go back and tell everyone how more psyched up you are now. Heck, maybe the school or a sponsor will hand out some free swag the first few weeks to spark some interest too.
  7. 1. Miami- We need revenge for the whooping last year 2. Houston- Thurs and Halloween, yikes 3. 60-40- Protect the ball 4. No- I think Eveld starts and Bench replaces him wk. 3 5. Mich St- WOULD LOVE another OOC big win
  8. Nope...they let Colt McCoy and then some other scrubs. He may get a couple opps in the next game, but I'm willing to think he'll get some snaps in the 4th game
  9. The kid looked solid all night, started on ST and was in the mix all night. Was weird seeing him in bump and run coverage... The int was good too, in good position on what looked like a hurried pass and turned at the right moment.
  10. Been watching K. Webster, having an "okay" camp. Making some solid plays, but you can tell has to catch up to the learning curve. Is listed as 3rd stringer, but is learning from a Hall of Famer...so no rush. With Cromartie's ankle it will open up some solid playing time in these preseason games. Looking forward to the games and catching up with these Bulls hopefully playing on Sunday
  11. The black look and the chrome look seem to the hot look this year...saw a military appreciation game on the schedule wonder if we'll have a Wounded Warrior look again
  12. My initial thought is BE is slated as the starter since he's the most tenured and most qualified of the returners, but my guess is the coaches are using it as motivation for Bench to not just think he can come in as the starter right away. And then there is the case that I don't know what the hell I'm talking about I'm just ready to see how we play win or lose
  13. I thought the coaches weren't able to talk about it/// The kid has some maturity issues and my guess is this may bite him in the ass as I'm sure some of the other schools are observing his actions and wondering what he's doing.
  14. Not a knock on our program at all, if anything a knock on college football and UO...this thing looks better than most NFL programs I bet. But when they have to deal with schools like USC and UCLA they better have some nice facilities I guess...have to have something to retain the talent
  15. Saw this today and thought briefly maybe we could get something like this...and then I realized we don't have an "Uncle Phil" Crazy that people say college football is not about money! Crazy part is they have just recently started to really win http://www.goducks.com/PhotoAlbum.dbml?PALBID=970348&DB_OEM_ID=500 I love our improvements, but seeing stuff like this makes me realize we are small fries still.
  16. I didn't see where the Bulls season tix holders are getting free bags and the bags we got from the Bucs are really nice insulated ones ..... but too big and not clear. Don't envy you, though, with that bulky stuff to worry about. http://www.tampabay.com/news/humaninterest/backpacks-most-purses-to-be-banned-from-bucs-games/2134086 Plus saw a tweet from USF, one free bag for every two tickets
  17. Well you season ticket holders (Bucs and Bulls) are getting free bags...us Broncos ST holders aren't and come Nov it gets a little chilly out here. This will be interesting with jackets and blankets
  18. Hope he can stick...love seeing our guys playing on Sundays
  19. After I transferred from UF to USF I still went to a couple a games a year each year. I didn't care what conference we were in or even what school we were playing. I went to watch my school play ball. Best game I can remember was '05 against Louisville, our first year in the Big East I think and we spanked them. I don't think too many cared that we were in the BE or CUSA. Just that we beat a ranked team and could play with the big boys. So now that we are in the AAC, I still don't care. Just play good ball, win some games and let the future happen as it may.
  20. Some big names not coaching says a little about our struggles...Nice to see these guys getting other opportunities at least. Wonder how some of JL's staff is doing?
  21. Coaches...we have had a lot of good players. Just look at some of the NFL/CFL rosters as a small gauge. Remember when Bowden said they were better than we thought...the players always seemed to step up in those big games. And I also think that the coaches could have done better with the recruiting too as we were up and coming. I just think the program got comlacent with our success and conservative after.
  22. Exactly, and if you see the facilities for CU...not very impressive. And for a school in the PAC12 to even have to publically make this suggestion leads me to believe things are probably worse (assumption on my part). Now is this in operating costs and other SGA spending maybe, or poor coaching hires (this ain't intramurals brother)? Maybe this is a public call for more donations to clear up this embarrassment with alum... My point with this is here is a school that won a National Championship within the last 25 years, has a Heisman winner and can't manage their dept. Yet we have added a bunch of new facilities, have a rejuvenated feeling about the programs and are not calling on CWT to stay at the Local Motel and stay off the toll express way. Just saying
