    We run the same 2 or 3 plays over and over again, and we aren't even good at those

    This isn't the NFL, we can't just cut players and get free agents.

    Unfortunately true, our fan base is not like an Auburn...until we build a winning program that is. Our football program has only been in existence for less than 20 years, so it's hard to have a strong fan base. I'm 33 and never saw anyone wear a USF hat or shirt when I was a kid, now I see I see kids everywhere wearing USF stuff. It will take time, but I'm hoping we will get there. I also think if the offense didn't suck as bad as it does you'd see more people in the stands. I haven't missed a home game since 2002, but even I'm thinking about other things I'd rather do. I catch myself thinking how I'd rather be fishing then watching USF football. USF football hasn't given us much to be excited about in years.

    I couldn't agree more. People seem to forget that backup quarterbacks don't get many reps in practice with the 1st string. Hopefully he will do well and by the time he's ready to leave USF we will have an even better qb to replace him with.

    I'd have to go with Kloss so far, but McFarland has been stepping up in huge situations.

    If we somehow manage to upset louisville, i think the red shirt will be reconsidered because if bench cant go there should be no way taggart puts a bcs bowl bid on the shoulders of a former walkon who goes 8-28 in a game If we manage to upset Louisville, with Eveld, why in the world would you think CWT would change anything, other than Bench getting healthy? If Eveld starts against UL we stand no chance of winning. Cue the Dumb and Dumber clip .... There's always a chance. Yeah maybe if Bridgewater gets hurts or over sleeps and misses the team bus

    I agree redshirt years are overrated. If he offers us the best chance of winning start him now.

    Just think how good the running game could be if we had a quality qb and wide receivers who could catch.

    I'm pretty sure that's in the works and ours won't look like a warehouse

    The defense looked great, but in the end they looked a little gassed. As others have stated we lack depth to give our starters more breathers. With added depth next year and hopefully an offense who can stay on the field longer things will only get better.

    Good to hear Lynch getting his name called too I've liked what I've seen from Lynch so far. He might not have put up the numbers we were expecting, but he is constantly motivating the defense. It's nice seeing him taking a leadership role and supporting the other players. Hopefully now that he's gotten a few games under his belt the numbers will pick up. He looked really quick tonight.

    The defense came out with attitude tonight. It was nice seeing them hitting hard, swarming to the ball and pressuring the qb

    Just got back from the game, we had a blast! The crowd tonight wasn't the greatest, but the ones who showed up were into it. USF football finally gave us something to be proud about. It was nice seeing our defense come up big several times. Hopefully more people will show up next game, our team really is improving.

    Exactly I just want to see progress from the freshmen and sophomores. We need to see what they can do

    You have to like that the kid wants to take over and is making it hard not to give him playing time.

    The ones next to us were nice, they understand what a horrible coaching decision can do to a program.

    I'm sure he will do fine, he's put up good numbers against everyone including MSU and Miami. It's really amazing he's doing this well when everyone knows we can't pass the ball.

    I was proud that the defense came out and played well. I know MSU has a poor offense, but the defense played aggressively. Now if we can just get the oline to block and a qb who can complete passes Oh yeah forgot to say I was also proud in rushing for over 100 yards versus a top 10 defense.

    I hope our defense can get back to the days when we were nasty like that. We need to put fear into our opponents.
