    Let's say the SEC and Big 10 take 2 each. The remaining ACC plus a few key additions (USF) is as strong as the Big 12. If schools in the ACC panic and run. I could see the Big 12 taking 4 of them. The sweet spot for USF is top 4 leave the ACC. ACC adds 3 which includes USF, and then we get a period of stability.

    Yes. grad. Was a basketball team manager as a student, and worked game opperations under Bobby Paschal, then ran game opperations before leaving to run the Tampa Bay Sports Commission.

    This statement is true, but you are mixing up the groups. Tampa Bay Sports Commission (headed by Rob Higgins) bids to bring in events to Tampa. Michael Kelly and Rob are friends and work well together. Tampa Sports Authority runs the opperations of Raymond James Stadium and a couple golf courses. (USF is good with them too)

    I think this happens sooner. I think within the next 2 years our conference affiliation changes (or at least a shakeup of members).

    The UCF football dorm burned down. No one was hurt, but 16 books were lost. The real sad part was that 12 of them weren't colored in yet.

    Forde is a Louisville guy who knows USF from our years in the same league. All national love is great, as it can help on the conference realignment front.

    Our Kenpom right now is in the 130s. I am not sure undefeated right up to the AAC championship game will be enough for an at large. But - we are playing good enough to be a serious threat in the AAC tournament. This year has been a huge improvement, and so much fun. It can be a step towards tthe dance next year.

    I want to, but not sure I can find a date to make work. I won't miss a WBB home game to see the men on the road (and likely won't miss a MBB home game to see the women on the road). We had 2 weekend where both teams were on the road, and travel considerations had me pick the women's game for both.

    Allow me to help. Take these tickets. Fill your pockets with cookies from the Hardwood Club. At the end of the women's game hide in a bathroom. Middle of the night, eat the cookies. Tomorrow at 1 PM emerge from the bathroom and enjoy the men's game. Now, I just doubled the offer and you get both games.

    Agree Our basketball history doesn't make the CBI an insult. Why not get a few more games in, if invited.

    I have not seen the hats out there yet, but I think they will be. Every team has a slogan each season (all sports), and they make gear for the players to remember that slogan. Those are very rarely ever sold to the public, not just USF, but other schools. So, I am not sure you will find the gritty not pretty shirts.

    Only 1 game against FAU. we are done with Memphis. (not counting conference tourney) I think an at large is a long shot. I do think 20 wins is reachable.

    I really feel good about expansion/realignment now. A year ago, we were hopeful but really only had 2 things: Tampa's market Potential One year later we have: Turned around football program. Dominant bowl win over P4 program. Best G5 recruiting class. AAU Status Turned around basketball prgram. Signature basketball win over top 10 program on national tv. Tampa's market Potential Bring it on.

    Right, the secret deal you have can be pulled. But, you have to have a secret deal, or promise or something. You can't be playing chicken with the idea that they hope to get a home.

    UConn also had a great home to place all of their other sports. We have the A-Sun. Make Stetson and Lipscomb our rivals.

    If I were to assume we are still in the AAC, then here is my list: 2 for 1: Michigan, Florida, FSU, Notre Dame, Texas, Alabama, LSU Home/home: Ga Tech, Wake, Vandy, Pitt, Indiana, Purdue, UCF, Duke, Virginia, Colorado, Iowa State

    Anyone from the top 4 leagues, as long as it is a confernce game.

    11 lead changes and 7 ties, lot of back and fourth. From the box score, Rice 9-2 advantage on fast break points. To me, that highlights 2 problems, 1. We didn't run like we normally do. We like to push the tempo, and look for opportunities to push the ball. We clearly didn't. 2. We missed too many layups. I am not calling any players out by name, but we have too many players that aren't scoring on opportunities where we should be scoring. Lots of close games this year. Lets beat UTSA and get back on the right track.

    No, becauce we are not going independent. But the idea that we could survive as an independent in today's landscape is wild. Anyone asking for it simply doesn't understand how that would destroy us.

    That is the rumor, and the rumor says they already have a conference home. (not said who it will be, but it has to be the A-Sun)

    Please stop talking about going Independent. UConn had a great home for every sport except football. If we go Independent in football, we will be in the A-Sun with University of Tampa in a couple years when they join for everything else. That would destroy our program. There is no realistic way to make being an independent work. No TV money, no decent home for our other sports, no NCAA tournaments, everything gone.
