  1. Hey all- Here is a link to watch previous Manatee Football games that have a few 2014 recruits that have committed or are considering staying close to home. Class includes Walters and Galati as well as old games with 2013 commit D. Calloway. Also, anyone in our viewing area can watch the Spring Game against East Lake on Friday (8/23) at 7:30 and again at 10:30 with Bright House 47 and will also be streamed online at the link below. http://www.nfhsnetwork.com/channels/manatee-brandenton-florida
  2. Not sure if anyone else has mentioned this or not. I wonder if it would be possible for our friends over at the Bulls Outfitter or another place to make the "legal" size clear bags with the BUlls logo on it. Seems like a win win for everyone. Any thoughts?
  3. Did anyone make sure that the artwork/photos are someone's orginal and there won't be any issues with copyrighted material?!?!?!?! I doubt the photos of BJ were taken by the artists or someone who wouldn't mind us "using" their work without credit given......
  4. Better hope no one you know knows a vending machine. Could make these go cashless if the dollar disappears. You're going to either carry more coins or go thirsty LOL
  5. Good- Hawkins Bad- Same old offense that appears lost The Ugly- AC's cut and the flagarant 2 call
  6. http://www.playonsports.com/channels/manatee-brandenton-florida Here is a great site to watch some games from this past year. I have it set to Manatee(being an Alumn) but you can actually check-out other schools as well.
  7. Won't matter, kids going pro in baseball. Most likely. You would be correct. Cord is going to be a Top 10 in the Draft and won't play another down.
  8. I see he is a 2014 FSU commit Yes, that's whom I was referring to. He is an FSU commit right now, but who knows what will happen over the next year or so. I could see him flipping as well depending on how the season goes for him as well as CWT's bus rides.
  9. For those who questioned my comment about Taggert opening the pipeline back with my Alma Mater down here in Bradenton, I must say when you know the coaching staff you tend to have a bit more insight on some of our guys. Derrick is a great kid and it would be hard for those involved in his life to visit or drive up to L'Ville on the weekends to watch him. His family was or I should say had much to do with this flip. Don't be surprised if you see "Christmas" come early when he graduates as well.
  10. We will be there and growing up a big State fan, this one will be hard for me to go against my roots. We were not big football fans because we were terrible so a Bull I am. Will e staying with fam when we head up. Best deals are always Delta and Spirit.
  11. I would think it's a possiblity to get John to flip if Fred comes our way. They both would be good fits for the CWT system. Fred would need to bulk up a bit but is shifty and well balanced. I was down there for the Mantee STA game and these two kids took over them and put us away easily. Would be two great pick-ups and Houston has a bunch of young QBs ontheir roster already.
  12. A college degree? You can always purchase an education and I'm sorry but when the money is there to take care of your family, you have to seize that day.
  13. Th Good- Attendance for a Wednesday Night The Bad- Elementary Refs Shot Selections No Urgency Terrible Half-Court Sets Few Points in the Paint Defense The Ugly- Collins's leg being bent back like it did
  14. I trust in CWT, but the Bucs gave up more passing yardage than anyone else in the league. With all do respect, the Bucs had the worst corners in the league and that's not a coaches fault. He has to play the hand he's dealt.
  15. Hell if I was TR I would take a job at my Alma Mater as well. I mean it has to be better than a WR Coach for the Las Vegas Locos!!!!! Great pick-up for Skippy and I would be very excited if I was a LT fan.
  16. I was just throwing out something. Who's actually left out there that would come here, honestly?!
  17. I know the weather is getting chilly(for Floridians) but I'm kind of sick of Holt(z) Stew, aren't you?
  18. I realize he's coaching DB's for the 'Skins right now but any thoughts on if he would be interested in returning to the Bay Area?
  19. Not a chance but it was funny to read that
  20. AW is an athlete, Sandberg is a athletic hard nose QB. How bad was AW ankle anyway?
  21. if we do end up with Willie, Joe is a very good guy to have in his pocket and we would have first choice over a lot of Manatee talent that has been lost in the recent years to out-of-state programs, including WKU.
  22. You must not know about Mamantee County football. How many offers were made to recent kids from Manatee County under Skippy? Not many. Leon Allen chose WKU over Miami and some other D1 schools and is the real deal. Bundrage who was a Randy Moss type of receiver at Manatee chose Iowa State with only UCF giving him an offer. We also lost out on Mike Blakely, the Pompey twins, Bo Brand, Dooling from SEHS, and many more. Coach Kinnan didn't stop anyone from choosing USF, he made sure that they chose an offer to a school than actually wanted them there. I know much about the Manatee program and Skip pulled Brion's offer late and luckily he had Nebraska offer up one too. Did Brion loose out, nope but USF sure did. I really hope that we can get USF back recruiting our kids down here as it would be a shame if we allow Cord Sandberg, our front four, and Willie Smith who is a stud for our secondary(but out due to a torn lig). I pray that we can get someone in that can build a better relationship than Skip had with Manatee County coaches.
  23. Anyone got a pass for lot 3 for Saturday's Pitt game?
