    This is a really important hire and transition for us. If Strong does not work out, I am not sure if getting someone with coaching experience or an up and comer is the way to go. We need to set ourselves up in hoping that we can get in the power conference when TV contracts are up. I'm all about guys like Larry or Jeff Scott, but is that smart? I don't know. I believe we need one with ties to FL for recruiting. Strong makes the most sense to me, but if it does not work out where do we go? Not a big fan of Kiffin or Schiano (he may stay longer). Holtz killled us and I think if we had continued to play well rather than suck that we may already be in a power 5 conference.

    Good luck coach! He did a lot for our program and put us back on the map. Once we got relegated to group of 5 and expansion was dead, I am sure he would be moving up at some point. Did not expect it to be Oregon nor this season. Thought we had him for 1 more year and he would have left us for another FL job.

    I would think if we win we are ranked. I think QF will definitely be on the early Heisman list which will help our cause.

    I could see Strong doing well at UNC if Fedora leaves. I wouldn't be surprised if Strong is not a HC next season.

    Coaching in FL is a good fit for him with his recruiting ties. I think he could do well at most schools in FL.

    One possible concern if Frost leaves is if Strong would goto UCF. That would be a good hire for them.
