    I'm so upset I can't even put together a cohesive thought. Frustration, disappointment, confusion as to what to do next, afraid of being suckered again. I don't even care about this game or season or Disneys Bounce House Circus. I'm legit worried about the basic viability and management of our athletics program. Close it and continue to focus on academics?

    Kelly is hurting the program by NOT issuing a statement right now. Change my mind. He needs to reassure the fanbase of what kind of program he intends to run and how this season plays into that. Being silent isnt being silent anymore. Its tacit support and comfort with current direction. Silence is complacency. Make a simple statement, Kelly.

    Howabout an apology? He is lost. Before I felt like "oh he will find some other small program to coach like McNeese state". Now I am wondering who would hire this guy. It's honestly sad to see a grown man professionally fail so publicly. Worse when it's your alma mater he is ruining.

    Don't blame you. And while I felt bad this season giving more to academics than athletics, I feel completely vindicated right now. I am ready to support when I feel like the university is ready to chart a path towards success.

    I understand he has a nice buyout but honestly what job does he think he is going to get with this on the tape at this point? He didn't just throw in the towel on this game, the threw in the towel on this football program, the university, and worst and saddest of all, himself.

    No matter how you slice and dice it, there is no way we should be here after 3 seasons if you're any kind of halfway decent coach.

    We can technically still win. Then, if we win every game after that, including AACCG and the bowl game, can finish with 10 wins and possibly ranked. SEASONS STILL ALIVE FOLKS!!!!

    He did the same thing a lot of us do.. jump to "greener pastures" only to find that all you had to do all along was be good at your job, FINISH the job, and that in and of itself will lead to success and riches. Instead he jumped ship in search of a shortcut. Not sorry its backfiring. Should have stayed and seen through the very clearly stated goal "win multiple championships in a first class manner"

    The pub sub is officially dead. It was cool when you got it on your way to the beach 10 years ago. Now they make tshirts and hoodies flaunting it. Its a "thing" now and thus officially dead.
