  1. That’s what it was in the past. But to be safe I would watch it ASAP during the next week.
  2. Yes that is correct. It was announced about a month ago.
  3. That is an interesting point Mike. I have no thought about it but it does make sense, the gaps looked filled but that may not be the case. I think this is also the case at Uconn (they have bleachers in 90% of the stadium) every year I have been there it looks like it well attended but then they announce the attendance it is not great.
  4. Same. Q was in games way too long sometimes. Yes, give Blake all the time he needs.
  5. Have not followed this whole thread but both Minn and Purdue hurting ticket sales http://www.startribune.com/how-plunging-ticket-sales-have-changed-gophers-sports/491766811/
  6. He may stay longer than some anticipate in order to get the reps with the offense...remember he has only been here for three months.
  7. Keep in mind one huge advantage...our entire coaching staff returned. This is a huge advantage and although they are not on the field, the continuity they provide cannot be ignored.
  8. You are correct. I just checked. It is available as soon as the game ends.
  9. Yes this was done last year. Unfortunately there is no real way to measure if it is effective. I think it is kind of rink-e-dink myself.
  10. Hope all of these guys get a chance to show out on Saturday
  11. Nope ESPN3 but you can watch the rebroadcast 24 hours after the game until the end of the year.
  12. I was listening to the Daily Stampede podcast they made an interesting point that the depth chart has way too many first year players in the two deep for the team be successful. Is this a legitimate concern?
  13. It was close in 2007 and we had arguably our best year ever in terms of recognition and bowl game.
  14. ...and this is the goal of a Gilbert offense...the short medium passes sets up the running game. You pass to run. Then when the offense is running down hill you keep pounding away.
  15. Welcome! You guys will give us a good for sure but like BullyPulpit said depth will probably be the most important factor. Good luck this season and don’t be a stranger. Let us know how Elon is performing.
  16. If you want free go to that 1988 board controlled by ECU fans...
  17. I was just going to write your point at the end but did not as I believe that the intent of a journalist is the same as a columnist...to rankle the feathers of the reader. If you notice many journalist still interject their opinion in the articles they right. This is typically done at the end of the article or in the headline itself. Further, by having a Twitter and/or Facebook account many are making themselves more than the article by giving personal positions on topics. The number of good sports journalist may exist, but from my perspective (relative to the teams I follow), I can count them in one hand.
  18. Why would the paper want to hire that person? There is no controversy. They want someone to stir up the shitstorm. The idea of journalistic integrity for sports is long gone. Think about Brett McMurphy, Tom Jones, Martin Fennelly, etc. They get paid to be controversial and have a snarky attitude. You even see this on sports networks and radio. It’s all a bunch of crap.
  19. Actually a new wrap for the truck...but this is sweet.
