    I think we know why as it has been discussed. It is the most ridiculous aspect of our attendance issues. You are either in or out in supporting the FB program and they choose to be out. To not be proactive and move rush or to incorporate the FB game into the rush activities is almost comical. Of course the administration could also help in this issue and for whatever reason they choose not to.

    Remember the St. Bowl does not exist anymore. It is the Gasparilla Bowl and it is now played in Tampa at Ray Jay and this year it is against an AAC FOE. But yeah I agree if we are to avoid this bowl we need all units to step up. I think our D is going to do good things as this is a specialty of CCS.

    That is an excellent point ET! That did not even occur to me. Imagine that opener next year? It would be something ( prime time game?). After we beat the mice in Nov that could be two wins over the last two national champions.

    I have plenty of collegues at work who graduated there (an excellent academic school) who keep me up to date. I also saw them play at Fenway Park last year and could see the improvement even though their record did not indicate it. One final point they do play well at home but no few go to the games (they all go to MBB though). We should win by 3 TDs if we are playing well but we can’t mail this game in.

    As a person who follows the FCS due the University I work at I would add that that once get passed #8 in the nation the rankings are very fluid and change more quickly than 1a teams. Further, there is an extreme drop off after the top 12. Also, keep in mind that the FCS playoffs were increased in teams a few years ago so getting into the playoffs is not like it once was. That being said, we need to be focused this week. I am sure this guys remember last year’s game and that will make a difference.

    No based on their returners. This is a senior laden team at all the key positions (especially at QB, RB, OL, and LB). Look, they aren’t going 10-2 but they should get to six wins and they are certainly better than Elon.

    We will beat Temple...more worried about the second leg of the back to road trips. Like you say we could lose to tulsa if we are not mentally prepared.

    Sounds good my friend. Only getting to umass this year but may try for home game at the end of the year. If my daughter attends USF next fall I will be at many more home games next year. Have fun at the WVU game.

    Their first opening game win in some time. They have been wining 4 games a year. However, they have been playing to the level of the competition the last two years. For example, they almost beat MissState two years ago and Tenn last year. Again, we cannot go into that game with an attitude that we can mail it in.

    To answer your first question the answer is only on Thursdays. Second, it actually is my business, and everyone else’s, if you choose to comment on what you are buying on a PUBLIC MESSAGE BOARD. Finally, I am sorry for pissing you off it was not my intention.

    Maybe but when a player only plays the last few minutes of a game (first two games) that is not a good sign. He will need a great final game to show what he can do.
