  1. All teams had bad games and Texas had the worst loss of the top 6. Also, Washington only edged Oregon by 3. FSU was in top 4 last week, Texas and FSU win, and Texas moves ahead? it’s so obviously political and not about win-losses or schedule.
  2. This is the exact reason the playoff committee snubbed FSU, to assert P2 dominance and accelerate the departure of ACC teams to the Big10 and SEC.
  3. BIG10 and SEC asserting themselves as the P2 by putting two 1 loss SEC teams ahead of an undefeated ACC team. All this means is that even if USF were in the ACC, we won’t get recognized or respected by the P2 or playoff system. They shafted FSU, they will definitely shaft USF. This was also a move to prompt the top ACC schools to depart for the Big10 and SEC. They just took a huge dump on the desk of the ACC asserting their dominance and demonstrating that the table is reserved for Big10 and SEC only. It’s truly one of the greatest subtle power moves of all time.
  4. Part of the lawsuit highlights that Oregon doesn’t provide practice facilities for the women’s beach volleyball. They have to practice at a public park. Where as other sports get on campus facilities.
  5. The cost to insure a roof over the stadium would bankrupt USF.
  6. We really could use more speed on offense, but the only game that really was a huge factor was Alabama. They’re probably making better NIL money at Colorado. I assume they have no regrets.
  7. Bama was having major QB troubles. Many bad passes. Saban played 2 or 3 QBs against us. Bama O-line is also bad this year by their usually standard. Now in SEC play and still their QB is getting sacked a lot. If Bama‘s QBs weren’t struggling they’d have drummed us.
  8. Being blown out by UAB and FAU. Thanksgiving weekend game is Charlotte. Yeah, USF football isn’t fun anymore. It’s misery. Why do coaches struggle here? Not sure. Golesh gets a pass for year one.
  9. Taylor Swift or Kim Kardashian coaching the team would have a similar result. Does that make them a good hire?
  10. Here is actual viewership data from 2015-2019. This shows why UCF got a Big12 invite over USF, more views. Here the ranks from UCF down: UCF (566K) Memphis (564K) Arizona (561K) Kentucky (484K) Boise State (476K) Vanderbilt (438K) Cincinnati (430K) Duke (410K) USF (407K) Boston College (403K) Illinois (401K) Wake Forest (398K) Temple (354K) Kansas (346K) Oregon State (295K) Rutgers (266K) Tulsa (265K) SMU (232K) Colorado State (130K) Fresno State (127K) Wyoming (126K) Air Force (121K) New Mexico (97K) Hawaii (94K) East Carolina (82K) Nevada (80K) San Diego State (63K) UNLV (55K) Tulane (42K) San Jose State (30K) Which college football programs bring in the most TV viewers? | by Zach Miller | Run It Back With Zach | Medium MEDIUM.COM TV viewership isn’t always the best way to measure a college football...
  11. Defense needs work. offense does too, but I think the defense is a bigger concern right now.
  12. One of the worst defensive performances I’ve ever seen. I know the offense didn’t help with the turnovers, but yards are yards… 400 given up in a half?
  13. Defense having a bad game. Giving up 400 yards and 35 points in a half. Pathetic. It’s like they did it even show up.
  14. HA! Sanders Jr wouldn’t be earning that were it not for trying to get his dad to come in as head coach. It’s part of their total compensation package to entice the Sanders to their university. Do you think Deion was only concerned with his salary when looking for his next stop? I’m sure his sons NIL was a big factor in choosing where he and his son would go.
  15. I’m sure a lot of other universities have comparable or worse numbers, they just don’t report them like the tampa sports authority. They also don’t have an annoying reported like Joey.
  16. I always felt 40k was the right size for OCS, that was when we were in the Big East. With attendance trending down, I’m not at all dissatisfied with 35k. A large capacity that’s empty is probably worse. If we did 40+k for the same price, somewhere the level of quality would have to suffer. Dukes stadium doesn’t look so bad, and if you remove the track, you can get the fans closer to the field.
