  1. This is the best idea yet... the green plaque is an awesome name. Need some t-shirts. Given the new NFL rules I doubt that the NFL/TSA will allow any surgical masks or any plaque themed costume items into the stadium.
  2. USF has a similar deal, if not worse, then what UCF had with the Citrus Bowl. We get almost nothing in parking revenue We get zero concession revenue We get a marginal amount of $$ from ticket sales We have to bus all of our gear from USF to RayJay and back every game, our home games are basically road games in this respect We get zero revenue from non-football related events held at RayJay We get zero alumni/fans on campus for home game Our rental fees are more per year then what we would be paying to repay construction loan/bonds on our own stadium (this is what I was told, correct if wrong) Our stadium is Rutgers red The Buc's dictate to us what we can and can not do (no live animals, you can't have games on these dates, etc.) We have to pay a fortune to have the grass fixed from our games to make it NFL worthy for the Bucs. We have to pay a fortune to have the Bucs paint the field and hang our banners. Our tailgate hours/rules are dictated by the TSA/Bucs. We have to pay the TPD and HCSO for security vs. using our own police dept. which is sitting back on campus doing nothing. Its virtually impossible to get traditions going 15 miles off campus An OCS would allow us to bring in the following revenue streams... 100% of concession revenue 100% of parking revenue 100% of ticket sales 100% of non-football related event revenue Also we would be able to draw extra $$ from on campus dining halls, the Marshall Center food court, and Beefs. We would also likely see a spike in merchandise sales at the book store and Bulls Outfitter with everyone on campus vs. 15 miles away at Big Red. We could also get some real student and alumni based on-campus traditions going... like a real Bulls walk and such. The only down side to building an OCS would be paying for the construction of the stadium... I see this as a minor deal since our revenue would more then pay for it and we would still be able to turn a profit.
  3. This... if we had a stadium on campus then fine I would have no issue with walking over for 15 minutes... however we currently play 15 miles off campus in Rutgers Stadium which is located in the ghetto. A lot of expensive things can walk away in 15 minutes. You never cease to amaze ... First, it's not in the ghetto. Second, it IS laziness not fear ... unless a tailgating group is too stupid to figure out you can leave one person there to guard all the "valuables" while the rest can go. Thanks, I try. First, yes it is on the edge of the ghetto... things walk away all of the time... Bulls ***** about this all the time on these boards. Second, its not laziness, its time management... Bulls love a good tailgate party and as such spend a lot on their tailgates. If I go all out on my tailgate and only have 4 hours to enjoy it then why am I gonna abandon it midway through to trek over for 30-45 minutes o I can head back, cleanup, rush around and get into the game? I don't know about yall but when I do something I do it. Its a party when I tailgate, and I'm all for this, but it needs to be made to suit the fans, vs. the fans bending themselves around to suit this. Whats the big deal with unloading the buses at the season ticket lot between the Yankees training complex and RayJay and having the team walk up that sidewalk that runs between the lots and into the stadium?? They could be lead by some cheerleaders, Rocky with a USF flag, and a small group of HOT that arrives early just for this event. If they did this then I would abandon my private lot and move into the season ticket lot in a heart beat. my kids are going to love this. no offense dixie but i don't think something like this is meant for you. It's meant for the fans who park in donor lots and buy season tickets. not for the "fans" partying at the mall lot and scalping tickets. I park in 6D and will gladly stroll over the couple of hundred yards to welcome them as I'm sure many of the other donors in lot 5,6 and 7 will as well.. this is a fantastic way for players and fans to interact before a game. In fact the fun zone in that area has been a big hit with the kids as well. makes it a much more enjoyable experience. I just hope it doesn't attract a lot of drunks and obnoxious fans to the donor lots. Thats what I was trying to say...
  4. I'm looking for total domination... after the last 3 years under Skippity Doo-Da I would love to see a 80 pt ass raping.

Your telling me that the area east, namely southeast, of BigRed is not a ghetto?
  7. Well here is an on-campus stadium that USF helped build... http://www.tulanestadium.com/ With its annual payouts to the Glaziers and their tax collectors in the TSA. Here is what Baylor is building... its very state of the art. http://www.baylor-stadium.com/the-look/index.html
  8. I trust in Tag that he made the right call... I would had sworn that Bench would had been the guy, but for whatever reason Floyd got the nod. Oh well having an actual QB for a change is a major improvement. I will be excited to see how our oline does. With a real QB vs. a Vick Clone the QB will need more protection then BJD had.
  9. ESPN3 is not bad... would be nice for those out of the area if Brighthouse just picked it up. But I think since ESPN3 chose to air the game, then brighthouse can't legally show it? Is that how it works?

  11. Hopefully USF releases where the tailgate will be located for this game... and hopefully they hire security. Where ever the official USF tailgate is located, that is where I will be.
  12. Voted for Bulls on Parade... looks like Stampede will be the new name, its winning by a land slide.
  13. Maybe next year... I'm in a pretty stiff office pool and won't have the time for anything else.

  15. Here is my expectation for this season... I'm on the bus with whatever happens because I expect it to be a ****** year... however IF we lose to UCF then I'm off the bus in a heart beat. W - Sat, Aug 31 McNeese State L - Sat, Sep 7 at Michigan State W -Sat, Sep 14 Florida Atlantic L - Sat, Sep 28 Miami (FL) L - Sat, Oct 5 Cincinnati L - Sat, Oct 12 at Connecticut L - Sat, Oct 26 (13) Louisville L - Thu, Oct 31 at Houston W - Sat, Nov 16 Memphis L - Sat, Nov 23 SMU W - Fri, Nov 29 at UCF L - Sat, Dec 7 at Rutgers
  16. Easy answer... NO... I would not date a rival nor marry one... my wife is a Bull and a Bolt...
  17. This^^^ Otherwise it will be an epic fail.
  18. The lots open 4-5 hours early, and USF thinks that people are going to packup two hours early to do this? We have trouble getting people to stop partying to make it to the game, much less make it out to cheer on players as they walk to the stadium from a bus. What USF needs to do is to figure out a way to get the players to walk through a tailgate area. Perhaps redesign the parking configurations in one of the stadium lots so a bus can pull into the lot, drop everyone off, and the players can walk through rows of tailgates on the way to the stadium. I hope it works as well, but I don't see it happening. It basically boils down to this... tailgate vs. Bulls walk
  19. On campus or bust... what good is moving out of a stadium that is 15 miles from campus in the ghetto, and into a stadium that is 7 miles from campus and in a worse ghetto? I'm all for getting out of Rutgers Stadium but this is not the answer. How about the Rays move their stadium to the ghetto west of USF and call it even.
  20. So the softball field lot is a visitors parking lot?? If so then that might be up my alley.
  21. Question... will there be an off-site USF tailgate area like last time, and if so will there be buses taking Bulls to the bounce house, and then taking us back to the off-site location afterwards. I would go, but my main issue and concern is having my bike trashed by some UCiF'tard.
  22. Forget about tickets, I hear all the time from people that its much cheaper to just watch it at home on TV. Speaking of TV, is this on TV? I would guess not since its a cup cake game and all. That should drive up ticket sales.
