  1. Thank you for your response! I'll look into these moments for sure.
  2. It's okay you don't have to click on the link. I'm just trying to help out my university/professor. I would love to hear why some teams are big rivals for you. I could do the research on my own, but I prefer to hear it from a fan from one of these boards. Rivalry is an interesting topic for me.
  3. I hope everyone had a good holiday! My name is Zach and I wanted to learn more about South Florida's Rivals and I thought no better way than jumping into this message board. With the help of message board members beginning in 2014, we—the students and professors of the Know Rivalry Project—began answering this question and others related to rivalry in the NCAA FBS. No one knows the rivalries of the Bulls better than this message board community. Please help us update and expand our results to ensure that the South Florida Bulls are included by taking 9 minutes to complete our newest survey:https://umassamherst.co1.qualtrics.c...=1051&mbsrc=mbOur previous results have been featured in numerous sports media outlets, as well as the Wall Street Journal and New York Times. You can view those results, links to media coverage, and learn more about us at our KnowRivalry.com website BUT we'd prefer you didn't until you completed the survey via the link above... we don't want to influence your opinions provided in the survey. We use the Qualtrics online survey software for data collection. This academic research has been approved by two US universities' Institutional Review Boards (IRB) and it poses no risks to respondents. You'll find more information on the disclosure agreement that is required to start the survey. There are plenty of other teams you can look into as well on the site if you had other favorite teams. I'd love to know more in this thread about why certain teams are rivals to you! Thank you for helping us to include the Bulls by participating and please share this with any other fans that may also help.Zachary Beal, Northern Kentucky UniversityDr. Joe Cobbs, Northern Kentucky UniversityDr. David Tyler, University of Massachusetts—Amherst
  4. What does rivalry mean to you? I'm a college student working with my professors to answer that question and others related to understanding fans' perspective of college football rivalries. Please take our survey (5-10 minutes) to tell us what rivalry means to South Florida fans, and we'll come back to share the results once compiled. https://wcu.az1.qualtrics.com/SE/?SID=SV_0v7XhwfYyPlNW9T&mbsrc=mb0366 We collected rivalry data initially in 2013, and we're hoping for more data now and to track possible changes in rivalry over time. Thanks in advance for helping with our research! (To Mods: We apologize if this isn't acceptable use of the board. If you'd like it posted elsewhere, just please let us know and we'll remove it; however, our similar survey last time was popular for discussion in the team forums, and we hope your members will also enjoy it) Will Borland, Sports Business student at Northern Kentucky University Dr. Joe Cobbs, Northern Kentucky University Dr. David Tyler, Western Carolina University
  5. We're looking to answer that question by conducting research on college football rivalries across the country. Please take our survey to tell us what rivalry means to South Florida fans, and we'll come back to share the results later in the year. As an added incentive, we'll give away three Amazon gift cards ($100, $50, $50) via a random drawing on or about September 10. http://nkubusiness.qualtrics.com/SE/?SID=SV_1R2QsOIXzkdM8IZ&mbsrc=mb0366 Thanks in advance for helping with our research! (To Mods: Sorry if this isn't acceptance use of the board or if you'd like it posted elsewhere, just please let us know and we'll remove it) Dr. David Tyler, Western Carolina University Dr. Joe Cobbs, Northern Kentucky University
