Joe, you've been around long enough to know that we've got fans on here that seem to live for times like this. They embrace, even relish, being able to ***** and act like dickheads ... and add to that these camps: - Those pissed because of what happened to CJL and know things would be different if he was here. - Those pissed because they thought CJL was the only problem and it looks like maybe they were wrong ... People hate being wrong. - The Green and Gold Goggle Gang who thinks we're an elite football program and are losing their minds because of a bad 12 game stretch, including a loss to NAIA Ball State. In reality, I don't have too much of a problem about the gripes about the technical part of the coaching but the calling for Skip's head NOW, saying he was a bad hire is a ******* joke. Am I happy about recent results? Of course not, but bottom line is we've got 8 more games to play this season and if this year is similar to last year, I wouldn't have a whole lot to say about the whining to get rid of him ... still don't know if I'd agree or not, though. Yeah, but it is so much fun watching their heads spin like tops.

You would think since they are the "fan base" there wouldn't need to be an effort to get people to wear green. Agreed. Why would the fan base, going to the game, not wear green? This is the biggest game in RayJay since WVU in 2007. If they need to do something special on the Jumbotron just to get the USF fans involved, we fans deserve what we get.

Lighten up. I'm joking around. Saw a joke set up and took it. I guess the hyper-sensitivity runs both ways. You can't complain about the negativity without becoming negative yourself. I chose to have fun with the negativity. There is no way I can understand being embarrassed by something I have no control over, the play of my colleges football team or a post by someone other than myself on a bulletin board. How many drives were killed becuase of penalties? Not as many drives that were killed because of lack of leadership and having no game plan. Run BJD right... Run BJD left... BJD over throws the intended receiver... punt... defense back on the field. Run Murray middle... run Murray left... BJD overthrows the intended receiver... punt... defense back on the field. BJD played a good game for once, but thanks to bad play calling and no leadership on the field that performance was wasted. If we are going to beat FSU, or at-least keep from getting embarrassed this Saturday then our O needs to put together some long drives so our weak ass D can take a break. It doesn't matter how many drives were killed because of penalties. I doesn't matter how they moved the ball. If the defense does it's job, BJ and company get maybe 4 or 5 more possessions and at least 17 more points. Then we're talking about a 44- single digit win, instead of a 31-27 loss. Alabama's offense would do no better than ours against Ball State, if their defense allowed the Cardinals to run the clock and score like ours did. This loss is ALL on the defense.

So much for not complaining.

I thought we had depth this year, so we didn't have to do that. Isn't that what he said before the season? Not once did I hear him use the wind as an excuse for the loss. It was there, and a factor in the game for both teams. He simply explained how they dealt with it, that's all. Offense wasn't the problem in this game, he said that as well. Too many penalties. The defense did not execute. That's what I saw. That's what I heard come out of his mouth.

Sorry to piss on the parade, but I have no intention of jumping off of the bandwagon because the road got bumpy. I'll be there every game, cheering my ass off. It's quite a large ass, too, so duck.
