I care as much about this team as anyone GUARANTEED! But, if you don't feel MORE like your heart has been ripped out than like you still have hope and are just as proud as in 2006 you are flat out lying. I barely care...a fu(king LOT. And my heart has been ripped out. If you don't feel that way then I think you should stop posting here, or at least keep your comments about others posting to yourself, because those of us who care are going to be upset, we are going to want change, and by god if someone gave up right now I wouldn't blame them. We are 4-13 in our last three years in the big east. FOUR AND THIRTEEN and you tell someone that if they are fed up they aren't real fans. If you AREN'T fed up and the put off by this train reck then YOU aren't a real fan.

Well I feel like we can still beat anyone, and this game was terrible! This team can't put together a complete game. They still find moments of greatness and moments of complete bottom level football. Really as a fan this is pathetic. I could never stop watching my Bulls, but I know why people who don't care as much as me stop watching. The time out after a first down to save 2 seconds and a down is unacceptable. We needed that time out more than anything and it was wasted due to a bad judgement call by a guy that makes $2 million dollars a year to play 12 football games. No excuse for his decision being a reason to loose one. I think he should get paid when we win. $2,000,000 / 13 (becasue we should make a f-ing bowl game) = $153,846.16. I WONDER IF HAVING THAT ON THE LINE EVERY GAME WOULD MAKE THE DECISIONS TIGHTEN UP. I mean seriously if a car salesman gets paid commision, why not a head coach. Pay the assistants well, but the head coach owns responsibility and juts keeps getting paid. Dag nab it I am piiiiissssedddddd!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I think I'm on to something here though. How about we use more of a logrithmic scale. With obvious incentives for Bowls, BCS, etc. A 1-11 team shouldn't pay more than about $100,000 for their head coach, and no one here would mind paying $3-4 million for a 13-0 head coach. HeII I don't think Woulard would blink to cut that check after an undefeated season. Their is just something wrong about all this. Skip knows the game and he makes calls like he is trying to make everything be difficult. MAKE IT EASY FOR THE GUYS AND THEY'LL GET IT DONE!!!!!

I agree. All the stress of National Championships and Big East championships and bowl games and hopes of winning. None of these are things we have to stress over any more. It's like moving to a nudist colony. Once you get over not being THAT guy, you just enjoy the pants free lifestyle. Cmon everyone take your pants off and join us in the world where beer temperature and burger doneness are our only worries and stresses on game day. :-)

I hate all opposing fans when we lose. They just keep cheering and yelling and standing up. I think the ncaa should make a rule that all visiting fans must remain seated and absolutely silent when their team is winning. :-)

You guys all crack me up. You think that you know Skip's ability, his ceiling. He's in his third year as a BCS head coach. Did Saban have teams in the bcs in his third year at a BCS level? Skip has to learn. As long as he hasn't stopped learning he will improve. As long as he quickly realizes that opponent aren't going to make mistakes at this level like they did in CUSA he will learn take games rather than waiting for the other team to lose. This team just needs to play aggressive. Take yards, take spots on the field, and lastly don't just execute our plan dictate our plan.

I might join you ET. Would be great to meet you and I live three minutes from there. I will say though, that if by some chance we blow this game I'll have some cyanide koolaid in my trunk for everyone. Ball State and Temple in less than a month would certainly push me over the edge.

You nailed it. I like Skip, but he plays to not lose. Against CUSA teams that works because you are just playing and waiting for a mistake from your opponent. When the competition is better they don't make mistakes as often and this style doesn't win as much. I just hope he sees it because I think he has the mind and the motivational ability to make this team great. Also, to be honest because his darn contract has quite the buy out now, too. I like the guy and he has tried to coach the way that won at ECU, but it isn't working here, so I sincerely hope that he sees it like everyone here and makes a move, and shakes it up somehow. It boils down to this... FIND A WAY TO WIN BECAUSE AT THIS LEVEL THE COMPETITION DOESN'T JUST LOSE!

A friend from work had his car stolen from the ND game last year, so it could be way worse. No excuse for keying someone's car, but stupid stuff happens and in my opinion you should have your chance at ten minutes in a room with the d-bag. Other than that don't act like you did in your post or crappy 'random' stuff like this will happen everywhere you go. Seriously your post would have been well received and had everyone apologizing for the ONE crappy fan, instead you had to act like someone without any class. I think they are having a players only meeting because of things like effort level, buy in and plain old on the field leadership. One thing that stands out to me that points the finger at the players a little bit at least is the fact that our front four didn't have one tackle for a loss against Ball State. That is all about effort. These guys should know how and have been coached enough to get off a block ONCE against a MAC team and make a play, and I blame effort and ownership. This meeting makes sense from that perspective, I suspect the defensive seniors will point to the 4th quarter lead and the lack of any plays after that. Those are effort plays. Somebody on that line was man on man and if once we can't beat a MAC lineman we aren't f-ing trying hard enough.

Later on that same drive, BJ to Deonte Welch on third down was a big completion. The best part of this catch was that the play before they threw the same ball and they weren't on the same page. Went right back to it on third and got the first down. Tremendous trust in qb and wr.
