Random, but did yall know that now on Google Maps, you can see street view of bike paths? You can see inside the baseball/softball stadium. It's pretty cool.
Alright, that sounds good. It will look to have a nice apartment complex that will be directly across the street from Campus and right next to Avalon Heights. There is now a ton of student housing across from campus and down 42nd and 46th.
If I can get over to campus on Saturday before the game, I'll snap a couple of pics. If its bad, hopefully enough alumni voice their opinion and they get rid of it. We will see soon enough.
i think there is a county or city ordinance that limits the amount of time you can have certain size signs up. I remember SG was battling with the gov-ment to amend it so they could have pole flags down Fletcher and Fowler to give the area more of university feel.
Agreed. USF really needs to get control of this area and make expand it to make it the "North Campus." It's mostly student housing already, so if they can improve it and get some school spirit with banners and such along hte roads, this could really benefit USF.
That is great that you are getting your son involved in USF athletics. This is how tradition is built. Take him to as many games as he wants to go to. At $6 a ticket, you cant beat that anywhere. The product is good and the expierence is amazing.
We have to get out of the Big East. The conference just turned in to CUSA. I hope Doug is on the phone with the Big 12, but I doubt it. Him and Judy seem overly committed to the Big East, unfortunately.
That was the last part of the beautification part of Lee Roy Collins Blvd. Im sure they will now start doing other projects on other areas. By the way, the Fletcher entrance has been beautified recemtly with a ton of landscaping.
Yes. If we were somehow able to get ranked in the top 20, one could easily make a case for us to have gameday vs FSU.
No way they would come here. I have not heard them speak once about the Big East.
BJ played pretty well this game. Got lots of help from his receivers. Davis and Dunkley will be key for him this year. Hope Griffin's injury is nothing too serious and he doesent miss much time, but I feel that may be wishful thinking. Very exciting game and glad we won.
Im a Bucs fan and obviously a USF fan, and I could really care less who he cheers for. Who he roots and cheers for has no bearing on USF's success or failure, so its null. I do think he is a good coach, and I went from hating the guy at Rutgers to respecting him. I think he is just what the Bucs needed after having a coach that would go out and party with the players. So you see us with a ohhhh I don't know 5-7 record for the year ?
7-5 with losses to Nevada, Rutgers, FSU, UM, and Cincy
Uh, have you been watching the KSU-Miami game? Miami is pathetic.
Dont feel good about this game, but hoping for a win obviously. There are a lot of factors that are out of our control that point to us losing this game. Its going to be very, very close either way.
