    Agreed. That along with the cesspool that is University Mall. Take those two disgusting places out.

    Was that recently "bricked over". I haven't noticed. Yup. The wall that was once white with "University of South Florida" in green font is now that brick/stone with those words on it. Matches the new paint on the Admin building. Looks pretty sharp.

    The problem is how do you get the scum out of the area? I guess they are trying to raise property values in the area and push those people further northeast. Finally someone is doing something regarding the USF area and its major problems.

    Under Armour is our offical outfitter, so dont hold your breath on seeing any Nike or other brand gear in there. Contracts.

    Yeah, someone mentioned earlier that its a pretty cheap fix for the problem by throwing up banners. The Corral is not being painted due to lack of funds. I'll be the first to complain about it, but at the end of the day, if we cant afford it, it isnt getting done. We have to either pony up some more donation money or deal with it. Im hoping it will eventually be painted/bricked over, but hopefully they keep the banners. I think those banners will look pretty cool.

    The brick that is on the wall at Holly and Palm is also on the front of the Admin building and has the wording "John and Grace Allen Building." I think its a good look. Not all universities are red brick. I like LSU's theme throughout campus.

    Bill McGillis has said they wont be painting the outside of the Corral anytime soon. Hopefully they can get it done, it looks odd.

    Yeah, I agree with you. Putting that chiller plant next to the Corral thats attached to the Sun Dome really does make the west side look cluttered. Couple that with the fact that there is nothing on the north or east side of it, it really does look kind of odd. Hopefully they have something planned for at least the north side. But having all these buildings attached and surrounding the Sun Dome pretty much hides the actual arena. Maybe thats what they are going for.

    I agree, on campus football stadiums have a much better atmosphere, you know Im a big supporter of that. I was just saying how everything they do, they do it quickly and cheaply. Not a very good long term vision in my opinion.

    UCF fans like to say they have great facilities, but in actuality, they dont. The UCF Arena looks nice on the outside, thats it. Their football stadium and field house were so cheaply made, they might as well not have wasted the money. Everything they build is metal, on the cheap. If you're going to do something, do it right. UCF does not follow this.

    This is a very important piece to the Athletics District. With UCF being the only state school having one (an average one at that) this is our chance to really gain some recruiting ground on UF, F$U, and scUM. Hopefully this gets done in less than 3 years. If the actualy facility looks like the renderings, that will be quite a facility. Good location too.

    This looks big time. Arkansas has a team store and basketball museum in the Bud Walton Arena. Sun Dome definitely getting better with the nice concourses. Hopefully having a true student section in the proper location will attract more students. The new baseball and soccer stadiums have definitely brought more students out to those games.

    Haha this guy! I really am laughing right now. But to answer your question, I do not believe it has any special designation or anything of that sort. It is pretty sweet, though.

    Can someone explain to me why the hell there is 268 pages talking about UCF? Guys, why do we continue to talk about Central Florida as if they are our equals? We are above them. It's time to move on from UCF and start talking about the teams we are on par with.

    I may be missing the point here, but why does USF plant those wimpy, scrawny looking trees when they plant new ones?

    Who cares its UCF.

    I would have to say UCF in terms of facilities and strength of program. UCF plays in a better conference, has nicer facilities, and has more fan support than FAU. I feel like UCF is years ahead of FAU, but UCF will NEVER make it a Big 5. Until they get into a BCS conference, which may never happen, no one will ever take them seriously.
